Bingo overall is looking a lot better than the beginning of the season imho. I think they have a little pep in their step w/ Locke in the lineup and McKenna in net. I'm pleased with Klinkhammer's play.
It was actually a pretty solid game for Sens - but the Devils goalie Kinkaid was really good. Locke was playing with a lot of confidence, and McKenna only let in 2 goals on 43 shots...not something I'd be ashamed of (he was 3rd star). I think Bingo played well enough to win - but Kinkaid just had unbeatable positioning. That being said, perhaps they should have tried to move him laterally a bit more.
The score didn't get out of hand and for the most part Bingo did what they should have been doing. I don't think there's anything bad to take away from this game and Bingo just needs to move forward to Monday when they take on Albany again.
Leaving this game with a 2-0 loss in my mind almost guarantees they'll win on Monday.
Coach Kleinendorst said that was probably the most uninspired effort he's seen from #BSens this season. Hopes the break will do some good.
36 shots on goal in an uninspired effort? Does KK think he's coaching the Red Wings all of a sudden? For that type of criticism he better hold the same standards throughout the rest of the season and bring this team into the playoffs.
