Kassian clearly wanted to be somewhere else last night. Wasn't skating/thinking/finishing checks. May have been the worst player on the ice for the Amerks.
Leggio played out of his mind in this one. No goalie at any level is stopping that OT winner. Laser one-timer in the top corner on a 4 on 3 PK.
I really can't get over how awful Kassian looked. Maybe he's mopey he's still not up in Buffalo? Maybe he's dinged up?
100% agree, I can't remember an individual player being booed but he got it last night. He better be hurt or this could be a real issue.
Missed the game tonight, what the heck happened here?

Horrific drop pass by Zack Kassian leads to odd-man rush, and rather than backcheck, he looks for change. No one on #Amerk bench comes on.
Kevin Oklobzija @kevinoDandC 2h Since no one would change, Zack Kassian was forced to backcheck. Play ended up broken up long before he got back in D-zone.
Pretty much what was said. Made a drop pass right on the blueline that wasn't even close and turned it over. Instead of backchecking hard he coasted to the bench but no one was ready because his shift shouldn't have been over. Then he coasted back into the defensive zone.

Pathetic. Rolston should sit him for a weekend. Really give him something to mope about.
I was at the game last night and Kassian looked extremely apathetic. Even toward the end, there was a scrum beside the Hamilton net, and Kassian was the last person to slowly and casually coast over.
Other than that, it was a solid team effort. Leggio made some really nice saves.
It is. More work ethic question marks. Alarming, especially in light of the reports that he lost interest after the World Juniors. Sounds like he may lack some self-motivation.

Weird since he played a solid game in Hershey last weekend. But the 2 games he played this weekend was some of the most uninspired, lazy hockey we've seen. And it sticks out, because it's a hard working team overall.
I'd say a healthy scratch would have been in order, but they have no extra forwards. Rolston hasn't been shy, he's healthy scratched Schiestel twice this season, including last night.

Edwards was awesome in college and a big (if not the biggest) reason Lowell was a HE contender for a couple of years. Nice to see him getting an opportunity, hopefully he'll do well.

I enjoy watching guys get a shot, they are easy to spot on the ice because they hustle all over the place.
An interesting bit of information that Rolston shared was that they’ve had several ECHL players decline to come and play for the Amerks. Every minor league team has a list of players they’ve been keeping an eye on for times like this when bodies are needed but when the time comes there’s several factors involved.

Oklahoma is absolutely punking Zack Kassian. They are trash talking him, pushing him all over the place and he hasn't stepped up.

Zack Kassian's response to me asking why he never fights? - "What kind of F#@%'ing question is that?" He says. So there u go
For the record, Kassian was horrid yet again. Seemed like he didn't care.
