I thought that "Pheonix" was the joke.

Interesting.

I'm really wondering what kind of expectations SJ fans have for Shep, other than his amazing popcorn making skills.

Prob bottom six center who's defensively responsible and can chip in points.

I doubt SJ ever gets much out of him. Stranger things have happened though.

Side note: Things are kind of put in perspective when you take a look at the Sharks' #1 PP unit and how far we have to go to reach that level...and even they aren't leading their division. Clowe - Thornton - Pavelski with Burns and Marleau.

Yeah. Its like comparing a Subaru to a Lamborghini.

And our Subaru had its grill smashed out and we lost the gas cap somewhere and the power windows are shot...

Although our lease is about up with the car and we're about to trade it in for something new and exciting (hopefully).

Yeah but were gonna lose the damage deposit, and the insurance company said they wouldnt cover that stain to the interior, so we gotta pay for all that....

You know this could be a metaphor for just about anything bad thats happened to the Wild in the past two or three years.

What Subaru is it? My friend's family has like four standing in their lawn with three of them currently in use. His stepfather is kind of a car nut though.

I'll have to get a job really soon and get my car fixed. First job is to dig it out of the snow... I wish I wouldn't be this lazy so I could get a pic for y'all but there's like 3 or 4 feet of snow on top of it and two or so feet around it neatly so you can't access it without a lot of shoveling.

You might wonder, "why fixed? is it broken?" And to that I answer "yes". More precisely, the clutch is a toast, the gearbox needs to be changed as it won't go to 1st at all, a lot of electronics need fixing and I need new seats. I'm planning on removing the rear seats as well for extra storage space/weight loss. I also need to find out a way to repair the lock since the previous owner decided it would be a good idea to install an aftermarket central locking system...

The good thing, and almost the only reason I'm keeping the car is the engine. 1.8 liter direct injection engine producing ~140-150bhp is pretty much enough for a car that weighs 960kg. That, plus the fact that I'm going to remove the rear seats is going to make the car even lighter... I may not be able to afford any exterior tuning or fancy subwoofers but I won't lose to some cake-eaters BMW or Audi, that's for sure.

Oh, and I need to change the exhaust, too. The muffler's shredded and it has some holes in the pipe itself. I'm thinking 2" diameter pipe all the way from the engine with flow-through mufflers.

^ wow.

Also, Sharks didn't have to make a big splash because getting Sheppard back is like a deadline trade

That Nystrom hit wasn't even an elbow. Clean hit, Letang should learn to keep his head up instead of being a crybaby. And ooh, look at Geno acting soooo big when he got his team to back him up. I wonder how tough he is 1v1.
