i went with definitely. but with our current defense we wont go far. if sauer and staal come back within a reasonable amount of time i believe we are a lock for the playoffs

If we were Healthy i'm convinced we would be leading the East, anyone disagree?

Na. Only because if teams like Pitt had Crosby/Letang back. Philly had Pronger back they would probably be top.

Most likely.
It all depends of injuries, and for it to be this early in the season we seem to be getting way to many of them.

Awards:
I want to say "definitely," but I know better than to make definitive statements about this team.

Went 75%. The defense scares me and this team is only 1 injury away from being VERY bad....

With the defense as it stands now, if Hank goes down for even 10 games, this team could be on the outside of the playoff picture very quickly.

i also went 75% but basically cause the league is so even..............they will make a trade for D help at some point so they just have to hold the fort and I think they will

Pretty much the reason why I voted 75 percent as well. A key injury can really take the steam out of the team and the East is still very bunched up. The Rangers have played some really good hockey and they're only still 6 points ahead of 9th.

Voted 75% last time, voted 75% this time. If they can get through Dec & Jan without falling apart like they normally do, then I'll be willing to think about 100%

I think they make the playoffs but still as a 7th-8th seed. They still lack the offensive skill that the top teams have. Dubinsky, Boyle, Fedotenko, Prust, should I go on? The point is they're all top 9 guys and have disappointed. Outside of Gaborik they have no one who can score 30 goals. Add on top of that the injuries to Staal, Sauer, and yes even Eminger, and it will be a tough second half.

I'm not sure this team should be worried about making the playoffs. Unless of course the injuries just continue to mount. The real question should be what doe this team have the potential to do in the post season?

Callahan is projected to score 30 and Richards should end up somewhere in the mid to late 20s (actually also projected to top 30, but I'm being conservative based on his career average).

Our primary scoring is actually pretty decent. Secondary scorers have been underachieving, yes, but there's no reason to think they'll continue to do so all season. Once Dubi, Pruster and co. return to last season's form, our offense should secure a firm foothold around the top 10 range.

According to http://www.sportsclubstats.com/NHL/Eastern.html we have a 99.1% chance of making the playoffs. So it'd have to be a pretty big collapse for us not to make it. Voted 100%.

I have no doubt in my mind that we'd be leading the east if we came out the gate with a full healthy roster. You could say well PIT would have crosby and PHI would have pronger, well PHI had pronger in their line-up this season and PIT has had crosby, we've never gotten staal back for one damn game, not to mention staal would be the guy keeping crosby in check and our roster is not a bunch of pushovers pronger can elbow into next week

I say we get in..But no way this team advances to round 2 with the team as it stands today. IMO one more solid puck moving D man , and another proven scorer with some grit is needed before we can really look at this team as a legit contender.
