Damn you Bickel. Stupid, selfish play.

Lol, far from the reason why Stu is a minor-leaguer, but dumbass play no doubt.

Agree 100%. It was a pretty classless play in my opinion and he deserved the two minutes. Yet we have our fans on here saying "Bickel is awesome" "Lets keep Bickel up if he is doing this." Doing what, taking dumb penalties that lead to goals?

Its his 2nd nhl game. Hes 25 years old. He has played well. Bickel is just trying to make an impression to stick and maybe continue to play even when Woywitka is ready to go. Can't blame the guy. Was it a bad idea? Yes, but the only way players learn is with experience.

Get your eyes checked Vitto.

The isles player motioned as if he was dropping his gloves, then he started undoing his chin strap and then stopped. What is this? Do it or don't. If Avery did what he did, he would've got an unsportsmanlike penalty. No way Bickel deserved double there. The guy couldn't decide if he had the balls to fight or not. What a joke. Not to mention the islanders started the entire scrum with three guys going to dubinsky and ended up on the power play.

Glad I'm not the only guy who saw that. It was bush. Instead of a faceoff in the Isles zone it became a kill.

That's why these guys are time bombs. When they do something dumb its always costly

If it was up to me, Bickel should have got an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty too.

will be interesting to see who plays when Woywitka can go............Erixon or Bickel........btw Wolski , I am hoping the real Wolski replaces Mitchell in the lineup.......what has Mitchell done lately? Hagelin is smokin while Mitchel is blah......to many vets, he has to go down

Their first line has great chemistry, PAP and Moulson are both underrated, they have a few good young defensemen, the three headed goalie monster's fine as long as DP doesn't play.

The depth is terrible, though, I bet if they "overpaid" (by hardly anything) on midrange filler FAs instead of kissing the cap floor with old guys no one wants like Mottau, they'd be in the playoff race come the end of the season.
