Normally I post a music video here, usually of some obscure band that 90% of you have never heard of. In the spirit of the holiday season though I've instead decided to post 16 year old Winnipeg resident Sean Quigley's viral hit version of Little Drummer Boy. The musical style isn't really my thing but he played all of the musical parts on this and apparently did all of the video work as well. His video now has over 1,300,000 views, and I personally think it paints Winnipeg in a really good light. So here...

Go Jets Go!!!

Please beat the hated Habs and make my Christmas. It is all I'm asking for this year. Thanks in advance. The Jets owe the Habs one for wrecking our home opener.

7 - 1 Jets - hopefully the Habs will be so embarrassed by the outcome that the team fires Gauthier.

So far I am sad to say the 'even numbered' season ticket holders have been a bust.

That's right, I'm looking at you 'even numbered' season ticket holders. You are a total buzz kill.

Tonight is an odd numbered game which means lots of the same face I'm used to that like to turn up the volume. (Last game stunk for fan volume).

SO.... let's get LOUD tonight! .

Can anyone bring a drum? Someone here said they had a drum. We keep getting out synched when the whole arena gets into it.

I know we have a dude with a cowbell but he's spastic, often losing control of his cowbell. We need a drum!

Prediction: Masons new pads score 3 goals, win a fight, and get all three stars! Jet's win!!!

I'm not sure but I think I saw a park in the vid.

Heard of this vid, never checked it out. Thanks for posting it, IMO it's awesome.

I friggin love that scene. One of my favourite moments of his in SNL history.

But unfortunately it isn't Christopher Walken with the cowbell... or Will Farrel. The guy who has it is a spaz with no rhythm.

We need a drum... or MOAR Cowbells. I'll let you guys decide! Seriously, anyone with a cowbell, bring it out tonight!

I declare tonight: Cowbell Night. I have a fever, and the prescription is more Cowbell.

Habs didn't play too well last night vs. Chicago, getting blown out 5-1.

Come on Jets, show up and play your game. If we do that, we can win this game and collect 2 points.

This is one of the teams near us in the standings that we must beat.

The Jets should win this one but Budaj played last night so Price should get the start for this one and he's more than capable of winning the game by himself.

I'm expecting a tight defensive game tonight. It feels like we've had those a few times after a bad defensive display the game before.

Is Little playing?

Wow I didn't realize this stat. The last time the 3rd or 4th line produced a goal was November 14th (Tim Stapleton). 15 games, over a month ago. Need some contributions from the bottom six.

I'm familiar with les Habs and their style, like Winnipeg they are transitioning to a more defensive style but I know les habs well enough to know that they are going to be hard to beat. I'm conflicted on this game, if the Jets lose I'll be sad, if the Habs lose I'll be sad.

Amen. It seems like ever since those two games the club hasn't found an opponent "worthy" of their A game...well...there's still a lot of hockey left to be played, and the playoffs are no gurantee. We need a big effort tonight.

Lose, Florida, Lose.

GO JETS GO!!!

I read that too, man is that awful.

That is why a lot of us here wanted Jaffray and Klingberg replaced. They simply are not NHL caliber players. Maybe they didn't hurt us by allowing a goal against on every shift, but they weren't helping us either.

We need to somehow get an actual 3rd line going at some point in the year. We can't get by relying on the top 2 lines to do everything. And the GST line should be the 4th line. The fact that we had to give them 3rd line minutes just shows how terrible our 3rd line is.

IMO, if everyone is healthy and depending if Burmistrov is moved back out of the top 2, that leaves you with Mittens,Burmi,Stapler, and Fehr to somehow create a productive 3rd line. We're going to need it if we are going to make a playoff push.

Fehr has been disappointing, but after a long lay off what can you expect. Sidney Crosby numbers? It's too bad cause I like the guy. Had a few shots with him at Carlos and Murphy's a few years back when he was a Cap.

Slow day at the office today huh? BTW congrats on making it to the finals in our NFL fantasy league. I can't believe I got taken out by the 7th seed...again. That's two years running.
