Cody Bass is OUT for Remainder of Season (With Link)

From Scott Howson's blog via the CBJ website....

"Speaking of Springfield, Cody Bass was injured in practice on Monday and looks like he will need season-ending shoulder surgery. This is very disappointing as Cody has played well both here and in Springfield. He has tremendous character and does the right things both on and off the ice and his loss will be felt throughout the organization."

I personally don't think he was that much of an impact player at the NHL level, but, still sucks and I wish him well and a speedy recovery.

What does that mean?( al chervil)

The jackets are struggling big time. Some guys are pulling there weight and some are not. Everyone has a. Job to do and it's nice to see carter get hot and the young kid playing well.

I read the articles about bass, real bad timing. The guy did his job when he was up ad looking at his stats in Springfield he did it there as well. He wasn't brought to Columbus to be turn the team around he was there to help bring a piece of the puzzle clearly that team is missing.

I still think you guys have a good team. Something is wrong but the season is not lost yet!

Oh, this season is dead and buried. With some big changes they could make it fun to go to the rink again, but this season is lost.
