Stuck for an hour on a Toronto subway this morning... At least I get to see my Sabres kick some woeful leaf butt tonight.

Now the only question is... how much I am willing to pay scalpers for tix tonight?

A-O-Buffalo-Go!

I don't expect them to win any road games with this lineup. The Leafs will exploit matchups and win, 4-3.

Stafford
Vanek
Adam

Kessel (2)
Grabovski
Phaneuf

So now when we win this game we can blame random google image search threads dethroning minimalist threads on Clock

Predictions!

1. The veterans will be out-worked by the rookies.
2. There will be at minimum 5 plays that Stafford makes that will either make me want to adopt a puppy or sacrifice one.
3. Miller will have a good game.
4. Derek Roy will dive approximately 6 times. only 3 will be noticed. There is a 15% probabality of it working.
5. If Gragnani plays, he will be the scapegoat. If Weber plays, he will be the scapegoat.

That is all from Buzztrodamus.

Kaleta in, Boyes and Myers are close, but are both out. Vanek is playing.

4 - 1 Leafs

Vanek gets his usual goal.
No one else shows up.

Lupul and Kessel have a field day.

Well, they only won last week because of the parade to the box by the Leafs and I don't expect that to happen again.

I have the feeling that we got lucky to beat the Leafs last time around. Expecting no points tonight.

They've got some injury issues too, so this may be more like Marlies-Amerks than Leafs-Sabres. Miller's yo-yo results indicate this will be a "down" game but they do play the Leafs well in ACC historically. Who knows?

I figure with Kaleta back, that he is worth at least two powerplays for each team and one thread on the NHL Talk board.

Loss.

Leafs - 5
Swords - 2

But don't worry,

- We're only 2 points out of a playoff spot
- It's only been 33 games
- They have guys like Connolly and Lupul and we have Whitmore and Szczechura
- Wait til we're healthy, then we'll show ya!

Any Over/Under on Kaleta getting re-injured? Shifts? Minutes? Period?

My goal is to not get destroyed by so much that I have a horrible Christmas.

That said 4-3 Sabres win.

I just lost any confidence with this team because of injuries and the spotty effort

4-1 leafs

Connolly gets a goal and assist

Pominville, Ehrhoff, or Kassian get the lone goal
