You know, in addition to Raffi's conditioning/injury issues.
Everyone was quick to run a capable, fast checking center out of town the year before though, ignoring him playing that role due to his scoring numbers dropping off due to cut ice time and a broken wrist. Yes, Dom Moore. The guy who helped shut down the Pens, first with Montreal, then Tampa. If we're talking about f'ups, that was a biggie right there. Speed and defense and PKing and a bit of abrassiveness? Yeah, they missed the boat.

And the masses were happy to run him off because he couldn't sustain artificially inflated scoring numbers due to his ToI in Toronto.

Number one reason you know the season isn't going well: Trade proposals in the GDT.

It was a bit more than that, as this thread may remind you:

Agree this makes more sense.

Didn't retaliate last game. I'm sure a win tonight is more important that the theatrics. But I'd love to see it.

Too true!!
Edit: we need to find out if RJ's indeed dead and they're storing his head in a cryogenic freezer between games. Between Harry's inaninties, Ruff's "coaching" and the Sabres crap play this year, this "reduced broadcast schedule" may be 100% related to how long his disembodied head can survive outside of a deep freeze.

Number two reason: 1/3 of the lineup is AHLers.

Eh. His tenure here didn't deserve a return deal despite being a decent player, same with Torres. It's not like there aren't 3-4 guys like that (Cullen, Kelly, etc) being moved per deadline. And Plekanec did most of the heavy lifting the first time around.

Not replacing his role after Kennedy and Gaustad couldn't hack it, however... Yeah, huge mistake.

Chat will be rockin' and rollin' again at 7, for those interested. Good times with all of the new folks who joined last game.

This is the worst lineup ever. Putting kass on the 4th line is just mind blowing. Fire ruf, seriously.......And get MAG off that team....

There a reason why Kaleta was on the ice for almost 2 minutes there?
