Sorry but you're wrong there. Hatcher was a defensive stud for the Stars. Zubov is the only other defenseman you could argue as far as importance to the team. Not a lot of defensemen out there in all star games, being nominated for the Norris trophy, or being named to all star teams at the end of the year who score 30 points or less. Not to mention that in '99 he was 2nd in Conn Smythe voting, and we all know it wasn't for his scoring.
This is the second time I've seen this posted on this board, and I find it hard to believe. I watched a lot of Dallas that year, and I have a hard time believing Modano and Belfour weren't 2/3 in either order. Also, usually the Conn Smythe voting results are not made public. Do you have a source for this?
