Goodenow "Bad-for-now"?

http://www.startribune.com/stories/1330/5007859.html

If Willie thinks he's a tough guy, he must be.

This guy sounds like a shyster, then again who involved with this debacle isn't. Looks like we're in for a long wait.

If this thing goes over a year, which I'm believing it will...the owners after giving 3 or 4 more new proposals will declare an impasse and will restart the league with players in their system (younger non NHLers AHL/CHL/NCAA Europe...etc, etc, etc) and start anew with any kind of system they seem fit...but that's my opinion...and I believe Bob McKenzie also mentioned the word impasse in one of his recent Lockout/CBA articles.

There's that word again..."impasse"...

Although it is obviously the last resort, it is very possible it will end like this if significant progress isn't made this year. Whether it be a hard salary cap or a luxury tax, there needs to be a compromise.

As a fan of hockey and the NHL I hope it doesn't come down to this.

Impasse = end of the NHL as we know it

Wow...two very different articles to say the least. Kind of a stroke-fest in the Bettman article if you ask me.

Well, I guess some are taking sides now...something I'm very weary of doing...

I kinda got that impression too. But why oh why does it not surprise me that Goodenow is a former agent?
