Your guys' GM, IMO, is the worse GM in hockey right now. Basically Montreal isthe new Leafs or the new Flames. Mediocre roster full of pretenders with suspect prospects.

You guys need a total rebuild.. like 3-5 year rebuild.

I hope you guys don't take that is trolling as an Oilers fan.
i wouldn't call eller, price, subban, pacioretty, emelin, leblanc, gallagher, bournival, tinordi etc..'suspect'...
habs have a good foundation to build from and deep pockets

Need to move gomer to the minors. And move Cammy off in a trade.

I find it scary that Cunneyworth listened to some random armchair GMs from HF and decided to bench Subban and Eller, who were far from the worst players at their respective positions...

I'm sorry, but this man is coaching this team in a much more intriguing way than JM ever did.

he should have been fired long ago.

And should never been GM of this team ,he will rank as one of the worst, right with Houle .

Why did we fire the coach again?

No, really, I'm serious here.

So we can't score goals...how about STOPPING some goals! It goes hand and hand!

I don't see any compete level for the Habs. They suck at defense and they suck at offense, they don't even try most games, they're soft as butter and definitely the easiest team to play against.

What does he have to work with?

Anyone who thinks goaltending is our problem is delusional.

Firing Martin was a good move imo.

Choosing Cunneyworth for the rest of the year? hell no

A few people who don't understand how much Subban does back there said some stuff about benching him, sure, but who called for Eller to be benched? I didn't see many here.

Still happy that we've lost. We have to tank...badly. Time for rebuild from the GM to the Scouting staff and the players and coach.

Yes, I'm kidding. Kinda.
I know you were joking, but this reminds of something I've been wondering for a while: doesn't the NHL have a rule that protects any Original Six team from being moved? Just curious.

On the topic of the game, we have the draft to look forward to, eh?

Absolutely. I believe the offseason is going to be exciting. Trade deadline too, and maybe Gauthier could be out of this town sooner than we think.

You were right. We had Tomas Plekanec and Carey Price reversed. Sorry about that. Corrected now.

The timing of the firing couldn't have been more absurd. Fire Martin on a game day. Then two days later hit the road for 3 games in 4 days including two versus two top notch opponents. The travel wasn't insignificant either. It's almost as if PG wanted to sabotage his new hire.

DD played absolutely no role in 3 of the 5 goals against while he was on the ice over the past two games. He was marginally responsible for one and significantly for another. His+/- is tied for 2nd best among forwards and third on the team. While he has room to grow in becoming better defensively, he's hardly a defensive liability.

I think it's the Indian burial ground under the Bell Centre. Maybe we need to gut the Pepsi Forum and install a rink.

Hola guys, just came back from Cuba. Seems like I've missed 5 losses in a row and a fired coach ?

Not bad.

I sure as **** ain't smiling. But it looks like I will be in June when we draft the best center we've had since Jean Beliveau.
