I'm hoping our offence reclaims its hot streak. The Caps are not shutdown defenders like the Rangers. The goals should come as long as they play the way they did in the last game.
The Henrique/Kovy/Parise line has been pretty quiet since the Dallas game.
Even in Montreal I don't think they picked up points together on that line.
It's the ONLY line we got that is 100% right now so we're gonna need it.

The 4th line? They're never fully functioning anyway. Gimme a break. We hope they can carry the Defensive play tonight. With this no name Defence it's gonna be hard for them. Hopefully the 4th line can pick that up. Surprisingly none of those guys were a - in the Rangers game.
Ok these Friday games are starting to piss me off. I cant watch because i bowl and the games i can watch are blacked out because of the Sabres. I cant remember the last time i saw us win. Now i might lose MSG at January 1st. Sucks to be this Devils fan right now.

Leave Time Warner. They pull this crap all the time. I don'tt know what is' like in your locale or if you will get Devils coverage or not with the other providers, but they won't shut you out of MSG at least.

The only positive thing that can come from a loss is that the whole league shuts down for 2 days after tonight. So if we finish the night in 10th place which is where we will be if we lose we play on Monday the first night the league is operating, and having games again. So if we finish the night in 10th there is no way we can come into Carolina any lower than 10th. No losses to these garbage Caps either. Boston, Pittsburgh, and a bunch of other hard teams are coming up again soon. Wasting a loss on this team will be like the wasted 3-0 lead that was blown to a 4-3 loss to Florida, and the loss to Montreal in the first game.
Not good to lose to garbage teams, or even teams near you in the standings right now. Not for the Devils. No shame in losing to the Rangers as much as we all hate them.
Also NO SHORTHANDED GOALS AGAINST! I'm getting tired of this. We have lost 5 games directly because of them. There were also games where we were only trailing by 1, and gave up a shorthanded goal, and were down by 2. Who knows had we only been down 1 still, and not by 2 in those games there might have been a stronger incentive to win, and tie it up.
Just win, start another streak...we need 4-5 game W-streaks, than lose 1...its ok, so we will be in the POs for sure^^
