So much hockey lately, I love it. At least this back-to-back doesn't involve travel.

Not only that but having the lead in the game last night allowed Noel to make more use of the bottom lines late in the game - to keep some legs a bit fresher. I'm betting the coaches will be constantly reminding them that the back-to-back excuse doesn't fly at home and especially ahead of an upcoming holiday break.

I'm going! Woo!

Should be a sweet game.. although I have to point things in the Penguins favour tonight, the lack of Letang/Martin/Michalek/Engelland could definitely offset whatever advantage the Pens have going into this game.

No problem at all. Someone here should post a stickied thread to archive these sort of constant positive comments we keep hearing about the city and our crowd from the players and coaches of other teams. I'm referring to quotes like the recent ones from Boudreau, Jordan Staal, etc. I'd do it but I'm too lazy.

It is such a refreshing change reading and hearing this stuff versus the negative garbage that was spewed against Winnipeg over the past 15 years.

There's nothing lacking consistency there. It should be a sweet game because 1. the Jets are playing and 2. the Penguins are playing.

I think there's a better chance Malkin stomps us but we play better against the Pens as a whole. But Malkin is playing out of his mind right now, so be prepared for anything guys.

If we lose, I predict the score 4-2.
If we win, I predict the score 3-2.

Yeah, but Atlanta's defense was almost always bad. This defense is the best we've had in quite some time, so I am very interested to see how they play against Malkin and which pairing is matched up against him. I expect Bogosian and Stuart to match up against that line with plenty of Slater's line in there as well.

Yeah the Jets certainly aren't the Thrashers so it'll be different for sure.

Let's hope we can hold Malkin back like a pair of Lululemon's hold a female posterior in a spot that would not be likely had it been different pants.

Jets win 6-1.
Ron Hainsey Scores 6 goals.

Pittsburgh has 19 wins this year. Jets have 16.

Is there something more special about Malkin/Penguins than the Jets encountered when they played Philadelphia twice and won both games? Or when they played Boston at the height of their hot streak and won? Or versus Minnesota when they had the best record in the league and won? Or Pittsburgh when we beat them once this year?

How did "Atlanta" do against those teams last year?

Or does it really matter how Atlanta ever did against anyone as the Jets are a new and different team in a new city playing in front of rabid fans?
