I don't think its as bad as some are making it out to be, but going from their performance the other night against Nashville to this is dissapointing. Having said that the score should be 3-2, not scoring on those 2 post with wide open nets is huge (actually 3 but 2 are from the same play).

Yeah, I'm starting to think Brouwer isn't good enough for the 2nd line.

I know we have problems scoring, but my goodness against AHL defenses we should . With Brodeur in net, a come back from being down 3-0 in the third period would be a true miracle. Very disappointing to watch this team not show up for another big game. We have NYR and Buffalo coming up too . I can't really blame Neuvirth for the goals.

I'm starting to think this is the first game you've watched this season.

All the blown D coverage and not moving skates aside, if our stars can't put a puck in the net but once every 10 games, were doomed no matter who the opponent.. This heading fast toward our what, 10th (1) goal or less game in the last 15?? Even giving up 3, if we had at least 1 we would still have a shot, but down 3 zip in the 3rd is like rookies climbing everest w/o oxygen..

Not as bad as many games this season, but it's not good. Need to be able to gain the zone.

am i doing it right guys?
I usually try to avoid pretending that games are worse than they are... I'll continue that trend.

They've sucked this game, though. Including the first period.

That said, we've played terribly and it really should be 3-2. Marty's got some Christmas luck on his side.

It's not like he's done much besides hit.

A guy that can hit is what we've been missing on the top 6 for the last few years...

Evidently, not all that we've been missing.

He's hit and he's about on pace for his career high in goals isn't he?

I hate that he can't finish some of those great feeds Ovi's given him at times, but he's been about what was expected of him.

Sure, but he doesn't produce much. And his hitting hasn't done much for us in the standings...

Also on pace for a career high in points. Had you expected him to completely reinvent himself and become a 35 goal scorer and 85 point guy or something?

No, but a 40-45 point pace is average at best for a 2nd line player.
