I respect Holik for speaking out the truth but all his POV which obviously makes his comments less credible. He is also being a hypocrite.

Without starting a debate {not in the mood for one}, this is exactly why I wasn't in favor of giving him the captaincy. The guy can make some great points..... but he's also capable of generating an "oh will you just shut up already" reaction as well.

Question

As with most unions in companies there are always employees that join up with the union, as there are also some that refuse to join the union.... Are there (and is it even possible) for a player in the NHL to refuse joining up with the NHLPA union?
