Happy Holidays, Everyone

I wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a great New Year. And if you don't celebrate Christmas, I hope whatever you do this weekend and next is great. Enjoy your families and friends!

We have golfing weather today. Personally, I can live with it. We're driving to Alabama for Christmas Number 3. 1 and 2 were great! Merry Christmas to everyone.

Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanzaa, Happy Three Kings Day, etc to everyone!!!

Hope everyone is enjoying time with family and/or friends during this weekend and has a safe and happy holiday!

For the players, I know the majority of our AHL team flew home because they had a 6 day break and the majority of our NHL team had folks fly in to spend the weekend. Regardless, a lot of folks traveling again tonight to get ready for work tomorrow (I have to work and am so jealous of all of you that don't tomorrow), so stay safe!

This thread died pretty quickly over the week, but my wishes of a happy new year stand!

edit: don't get arrested. I can't afford to bail people out right now

Happy New Years everyone.

My wife and I are up to Nashville for the game today and are excited to be here for the NewYear's celebration! Any advice for us as we'll be up in 303 for the game - heard a lot about the 'true' fans up in the nose bleed section

Cheer for the team. That's all. They are incredibly nice people. You may hear a few scattered obscenities, but if that doesn't bother you it'll be a fun time.

Also, find your way down to Blackstone for some food before the game. Google it for directions if you need to. Take Broad out of downtown. It'll split into Broad (on the left) and West End ave (on the right). Take West End. It's right before you get to 20th ave on your right. Trust me. Good stuff.

I've been a Preds fan since their start. We get to a couple of games each year (was at the Leafs game prior to flying home for the Thanksgiving holiday - up to Toronto area but not a Leafs fan any longer). This is the first time we'll be in the 303 though and I'm looking forward to that experience.

I've been a professor of kinesiology at University of Alabama or Montevallo (outside Birmingham) since 1996. I've gotten a good number of my students interested in hockey, and a few have even made the trip up to see the Preds.

We may try to get to that Pub but not sure at the moment. Thanks though for that piece of info.
