A)lose the lottery and pick 2nd
B)Howson will pick a guy who was suppose to go in the later rounds and make people shake their heads.
C)In March/April, will go on a meaningless winning streak and fall out of the draft lottery.
Personally, I wouldn't mind trading the pick, if hte price was right.

What the hell were those things called? Shake em up and get an answer... Magic Eight Ball? Junior Mac should buy one of those since his Pres and GM don't appear to be watching the same hockey team.
I was kinda hoping two of those players won't be on the roster next year.

OK, does anyone have the feeling that 61's trade value is sinking the longer we keep him?
I would say no, I can see GM's thinking that it's more of the Blue Jackets sucking, rather then Nash/Nash is uninspired because the Blue Jackets are sucking. Although, his cap hit might hurt his trade value.

I could see a lot of GM's wanting him...but what we get for him is surely turning into the law of diminishing returns

That's what Howson is going to use when he selects his player.
Great move by Arniel canceling practice after the Nashville debacle. 4 days without practice (until this morning) instead of only 3 - and it shows.
After watching these past two periods, how can anyone tell the difference in whether they have practiced or not? If they practice, they stink, and if they cancel practice, they stink. So what does it matter? Really?

I'm on board with trading him for the right price, I feel he may be a significant part of the problem. But what do you think the chances of that really are? He's got a large contract (though his value in the eyes of others probably makes that ok), he seems quite dedicated to this team, and he has a no trade clause. And some GM has to have rocks to pull the trigger.

At this point, I will pretty much trade anyone but Johansen for the right price

I would say 0% chance to be honest. Only way is if he asks Howson for a trade. Like you said, he's dedicated to this team and I can't see Howson trading him because of that. Although, if Howson tries to trade him to a contender, that's probably doing Nash a favour.

If this were to happen, I sure hope Howson is gone. I don't want him to trade the current players to reconstruct our lineup. I would prefer the new GM to change this team and start from scratch.
