I donít know what ruined OV. But I know for sure I am far beyond the point of blaming it on anyone but OV. A coach or teammate can always pull a player down. But this has been going on for so long. There is no one to look at but OV himself.

If he shows up and wants to play great I love to see it. But the days of me being let down by turnovers, floating or missing the net. Stopped about sometime last season.

I also forgot to mention OV leading every optional skate, not being the first name mentioned on those that did not participate.

Surprised Sasha didn't get a dive call as well. Seemed a tad embellished.

What are the chances GMGM isn't making a big move and is waiting to see if Dale can use these players?

If he can't, he'll find someone in the offseason that can.

And Go Ovi.

The Caps have gone down 4-0 tonight, 3-0 against NJD, 5-0 against Philly, and 5-1 against Florida, in the 12 games since Hunter has taken over. If you think this is the first game where the play approached the play that got BB fired for having lost the team, I don't know what the hell you're watching.

I think I'm unhappy Ovechkin scored that. When he plays like **** all game and then gets a gift-wrapped goal (granted, the fact that he even hit the net it a pleasant surprise), the only effect is probably to lessen the perceived severity of the problem. If it gets him going, great, but there have been plenty of situations that should have gotten him going this year and haven't, so I'm extremely skeptical.

Great to see the Sabre's Dman falling down before Laich touched him. But hey, makeup calls are what the NHL is all about right?

What we are witnessing is years of babying, short cutting, and country club atmosphere coming back to haunt them. They accepted their faults because they could overcome them in the regular season and never pushed themselves to be better. Managers got caught up fans with 2 PTs!

You can't just do a few flights and tell some guys it's NOW you have to play hard and be accountable to each other cause you're no longer kids.

This is true you dont want him to be rewarded on nights he does not put in a 100% effort. But even if there is a slight chance this would get him going. I will take it.
