Just thought you guys would find this amusing. Me and a buddy went to the WC wearing these. Mine is the Authentic Zherdev, which garnered some hilarious comments from the Flyers contingent, and his is the Baranka which is just an absurd jersey to own. (Plus a Graves AND Leetch patch which makes no sense but is just adding to the ridiculousness).
Does anyone know where I can get a jersey customized? And how much does it cost?
Sportsk.com has jerseys for customization. Got my Richter heritage jersey with the 85th patch on it for Christmas from there. They do excellent work. Cost is around 160 to customize a premier.
Whats everyones thoughts on the liberty jerseys? Love em? Hate em?
Personally, I loved them. Especially the white/home one when they were made by Starter. You'll get a mixed response from most Ranger fans though. Many loved them and more than a few didn't.
My current Jersey collection consists of:
Blank Statue of Liberty Jersey (navy)
Adam Graves autographed (white with the A)
Henrik Lundqvist (WC)
Brian Leetch (Blue with the C)
Jeff Beukeboom (white)
2 blank white jerseys with the entire 1997-1998 teams autographed.
Sergei Zubov (Soviet era CSKA Moscow jersey)
I would love to get an Esposito 77 with those ****** Blue Jerseys the wore in the 70's and A Gretzky White Statue Jersey
I wanna get a McD jersey but I don't like the way "MCDONAGH" looks on the jersey with the large "C". I'm ordering from NHL.com and might just go a D-Step jersey.
For sale:
Replica Dubinsky winter classic size large with tags- 200
Fake heritage gaborik size 50 - 15 bucks
Also, just got a gaborik heritage with heat pressed name and numbers. How much would it be to get it stitched at crosbys/ sportsk/ NHL store? Is it cheaper since name/ numbers are there?
Also, just got a drury authentic but want to replace name and number. Is this feasible and how good or bad does it look to restitch a jersey?

Thats what I thought. I think they are sharp for their day. They werent overly modern for a 3rd jersey. Great pattern, great logo. I think I know as many people that love tham as hate them.
I like the white version, too. Im thinking of getting some custom made, cuz you just dont see them for sale very often.
Hey, I'm a Blue Jackets fan that was visiting the Garden tonight for the first time and I picked up a blue Callahan home jersey for myself while I was in there.
When I was looking around, I noticed some differences in the lettering on some of the jerseys. Some of them had what seemed like a cheap vinyl lettering stitched on while others had a higher quality lettering. I picked up one with the higher quality since the vinyl looking lettering looks a bit cheap.
Any idea why there is a difference? I'm surprised that not all of the replicas were done in the same way.

Yeah it's like that for whatever reason. The cheaper version you see is what you will typically get off NHL.com or at the NHL store. It's the customized version the NHL puts out. The completely stitched version is what you will see put out by sites like River City and Ice Jerseys to replicate what they wear on the ice. Why it's like that I have no clue though.
Thim i'm going to wait until next season to get a Prust jersey.
Not taking the risk, just in case he doesn't resign.
Don't blame you. I always make sure the player is here for a while now after I got a Mike York when I was a kid and watched him get traded three weeks later lol

Thanks for the info. I'm glad I got the higher quality version of the stitching. Its surprising that the Rangers jerseys are like that. I haven't noticed that type of cheap lettering on any jerseys from any other teams to that extent before. I was at a Flyers, Devils, and Islanders games this past weekend as well and I've not seen that type of inconsistancy in the lettering from any other team store.
So, yeah. Does the NHL store in NY still have authentic WC jerseys? Cannot believe I can't find one anywhere. Guess they didn't make many of them.

Looking to get a McD jersey as well. But I would want the small "c" too. Anyway to make this happen? Does anyone know if anyone offers this?

I was there last week and they didn't have to many WC jerseys at all really and many of them looked like premiere's. I'd say the best bet is to call them and check.
