Dumb question of the day, but where does the teams Get theire Jersey's done?

Let's say NYR get's a new player, do they fix his Jersey with the name and number in house or send it elsewhere for others to fix it?

NYR uses Arena Wear LLC, located in Port Chester, NY.

Anyone have a customization done at msg? I was wondering if they stitch and do a nice job and also if they will finish during the game and have it for me by the time I'm leaving. Thanks in advance.

I am pretty certain they only do heat press at MSG. Even Cosby's sends them out to be done; they don't stitch in the store. For the team itself, they have a seamstress, or the trainer can do last minute things, but they do not do that for the general public.

Anyone know if this jacket is similar to a windbreaker?

http://shop.nhl.com/product/index.js...uctId=11952696

I am looking for a jacket that is wind/water resistant, and I like the style of the jacket.

Only heat press. But I don't even think they do any customizations anymore. Usually you could go to the booth outside section 110, but they don't offer that anymore. At least thats what the MSG workers told me when I checked during the Ottawa series.

I know some people mentioned that blue playoff locker room hats where available at certain modells in NYC.

I tried looking for them @ MSG game 1 of the washington series but couldn't find any.

Does anyone know of any spots in NJ that are selling them?

I know it's the jersey thread, but since people are discussing t-shirts and stuff in here too, if you want Rangers shirts, don't overpay for the crappy player number shirts or the stuff they have at MSG/the NHL store. Go to webleedblue.com and support a fan owned business. I love their stuff. I go to their viewing parties. They're good people. Their shirts are awesome.

It looks like an actual jersey in the picture. I can find/make one of those. I was looking for the shortsleve shirts that are modeled after the jerseys. Like the Kreider one mentioned above.

My next NYR jersey will most likely be a McD home jersey. Already got a Callahan road jersey.

I seen that on eBay, judging from the image, that is a fake. No NHL logo on front or Reebok on back, maybe it was blanked out, but I wouldn't buy from this seller.

I was thinking it was a fake too. It's too bad because I like the way the Rangers lettering is larger across the front than the legit ones.

Anybody know where I can get a Kreider Jersey? The guy I use doesn't have anymore. Are the ones they sell at MSG any good or should I not bother with those.

You can have any jersey made at most jersey retailers.

Sportsk.com
Icejerseys.com
NHL.com
Rivercitysports.com
Pro-jerseys.com (they will do a request for you)

The NHL store in Manhattan
MSG

Cosby's in Manhattan

All can make you a Kreider jersey. I wouldn't go with NHL.com (unless authentic) or MSG, but it all depends on your standards.

The ones made at MSG are heat pressed.

Has anybody else ordered an authentic 3rd from NHL.com? The numbers are stitched and good quality, but the numbers on the sleeves do not look like the ones the players wear. The white borders seem way thinner. Has anybody else noticed this? I wish I knew how to post a pic of mine lol.

Picked one up at MSG last night for my brother. They have heritage and home premier jerseys with the new Reebok logo and the name and number are completely stitched on and it has the nameplate as well.

Cosby/CCM Mesh Authentic Jersey, White - #11 MESSIER "C" w/ 1994 SCF patch

Here's the Messier authentic I had customized at Gerry Cosby's in March, just in time for my birthday. This was originally a NEW Mint Condition #22 Nathan Lafayette, which I personally stripped and treated with Goof-Off before I sent it to Cosby's for re-lettering. I had to remove the vinyl tape backing where the fight strap is attached to the jersey... lo & behold!! It had the Gerry Cosby's logo stamped on!

Any questions, comments, critiques, complaints? Feel free to reply.

I'll include the picture of the 1994 Stanley Cup Finals patch - that I found separately and had sewn onto the shoulder - in the next post.

I'm absolutely no expert but the 1s on the back look like they are spaced too far apart.

The 1994 Stanley Cup Finals patch stitched onto the Messier jersey... How does this compare to other customization jobs of other jersey hobbyists around here?
