When did you see one on there? I didn't know they had them available, if it's still on do you have a link? I'm not seeing it.

Those are some impressive numbers, I am one good golf season away from breaking 80. Normally hover around low 90's, but on a good day can go low, and if I consistently play during the season I can go mid 80's, and threaten the daunting task of breaking 80. I came close once, shot a 36 on the front and shat the bed with a 46 on the back, sad day for sure...

Thanks.

What you said about your near experience with breaking 80 is what makes what the pros do so impressive. Forget about stringing two 9's together, they have to string 4 rounds together in 4 days.

Helmets from the WC were added on NHL Auctions. I'll be watching Schenn's.

I'm curious what exactly is wrong with the one on ebay? As far as Skate Zone. I dropped my jersey off at the Voorhees location last Tuesday. It's not done yet. They said it takes about 2 weeks.

Thanks. 2 weeks sounds real good compared to some places especially considering that its the best place to go. as far as the jerseys on ebay, there aint much wrong with them. i just basically defended it from dude up there who was nitpickin them. They technically are off a little. the numbers black boarder arent thick enough and the nameplate boarders are bigger than they should be and almost look like airknit material which would be wrong but their close enough for me and are definately NOT brutal

The name font is close, but I think its too skinny. Everything else is wrong. So maybe brutal was harsh, how about very bad?

As far as what is wrong, the nameplate looks to be the same material of the jersey itself, whereas it should be twill. The numbers are wrong in terms of the bordering and the C on that Pronger jersey is too skinny and not the right font. What might be debatable, is the name font, but it's pretty close.

You made a great choice going with the Skatezone!

I hear you dude. its just at this point theres so many bad flyers jerseys out there its like beatin the ol dead horse. what was brutal to me was watchin those po suckas who bought those fake winter classic jerseys at the actual game on tv in the back ground (i only went to the alumni game) Thats a level of obliviousness i dont understand. Your walkin around in some completely ghetto crazy fake a ss jersey and all proud about it. In the end i guess it dont matter but if your gonna buy somethin fake buy somethin that at least tries to replicate somethin REAL. it still cost money no matter how cheap.

Thanks. I took the advice of the people on this board. The one thing that I noticed in the Winter Classic game was that numbers on the back of the Flyers jerseys were noticeably bigger. Maybe a couple of inches bigger. They were much closer to the bottom stripes then any of the kits we've seen from other places. I figured Skatezone is the only place that's going to use those bigger numbers.

I too have noticed that the number sizes seemed bigger on the actual Flyers jerseys. And hey, my philosophy is if you're going to spend the money to get a jersey and get it customized, you might as well do it correctly. Once I get around to it, I will be sending my Winter Classic jerseys to the Skatezone to be customized.

So did you get the WC jersey? Who did you choose to customize it with?

You nailed it, its almost shocking to see a Flyers jersey done correctly.

I myself dont buy fakes, but I dont absolutely condemn it either. What bothers me is basically what you said above. I have a couple buddies who forward me all these emails that basically have the "Real Edge Authentic Jerseys!!!! Only 60 bucks!!" as the title. They order and get their jerseys and walk around thinking they beat the system or that they have connections. Flash forward a couple months later and they are sporting a different jersey. So naturally I ask them, "Oh did you buy another jersey?". To which I get the response, "Oh yeah the other I got basically fell apart in the washing machine so I replaced it".

So $120 later, they have one fake jersey, but still they rationalize it because it's cheap. Where in reality they could have waited for some sort of sale and bought a replica for basically the same money that they spent on the two fakes.

To each their own I guess.

I bought a blank authentic WC jersey. I got it from Pro League Authentics in Philly. I was going to get the Premiere but after trying on the authentic I had to get the real thing. I'm getting it done up with Giroux. $70 for the customization at Skatezone. That includes the Keystone "A" on the front.
