Yep that one is fake. The dead giveaway is the size. Edge jerseys do not come in a size 48. The sizes run 46 then to 50

Thought so, reported it... normally I don't care about that stuff, but he is really selling at a high price for a jersey he probably spent 50-75 bucks on.

I'm assuming there will be another set of Flyers jerseys going for auction after tonight or possibly two sets......warm-up and the game. I'm guessing jerseys with the number 2 with Howe and regular player name and gamers with a Howe patch.

The warmup jerseys will be auctioned for sure. I could be wrong, but I don't think the game jerseys will have any patches on them.

I stand corrected. The flyers have certainly issued more one game/event wonders this season than most teams do.

Warm-up jerseys were old previous style orange with #2 and Howe written on each... no current players name on them... each the exact same on the outside, except for some different sizes -- Bryz jersey looked too small to be Goalie Cut; probably the largest skater size as they may not have wanted to go the added expense to manufactor one with all the regular ones -- Auction done during first couple periods as were the regular game ones which were their normal ones except for the sweet looking Mark Howe #2 patch over a little Flying 'P'... Really don't see the draw of a jersey worn in a warm up by a player that is the exact same as all the others and didn't have the players names on the outside; I imagine the name was sewn on the inside... but still........ Is a Giroux, Jagr or Briere worth more than a Ronaldo, Wellwood or Read even though he price fr them will be way higher?

I would love to get my hands on afew of those Howe patches, anyone know any info on how to obtain one? If the stadium is selling them I'd pay anyone who can grab me 2.

Maybe the stadium will sell them in the future, but they definitely didn't have them last night.

If I understood it correctly the Patches themselves will also be auctioned off.

I figured it meant that Meigray was auctioning the patches, and not necessarily the game worn jerseys. They are selling the warm up jerseys, so perhaps they didn't feel like making a game set for the team, and just added, then subtracted the patches from whatever set they are wearing.

Just won Simmonds' gloves from the WC and the 2/11/12 game. Scored a goal on 2/11 and dropped the gloves against Boyle too.

Not the case... at the game at the special little Howe museum they had, we were handed a hand-out by a worker that night that read:

Won the Kimmo gloves from the auctions. Wanted one of the jerseys from the Feb. 11 game since I was there but I missed out. Was bidding on Kimmo but it went too high and wound up missing on the others cause they all ended before the Kimmo jersey. Oh well....money for something else.

Those are really nice. Might I ask where the best place to get a jersey frame is? I'm trying to kick off a bit of a collection and don't know where to start. Thanks

I did win the Voracek jersey from that game. Wanted the Couturier one but Voracek isnt a bad win.

The #2 patched Game-worn jerseys from Tuesday's Detroit game are now up for bids, starting at $300... Since the Voracek one was listed as a Game-issued I read the description and stumbled upon the fact that they were worn in the third period -- thus Voracek didn't get to wear it being out of the game before then -- Looking at Grossmann's it doesn't mention it was worn in the Third Period, since he played then... so we would only know if we read Voracek's or Jagr's listings, otherwiseone one would know they are one period jerseys. I wonder what they are doing with the other two, assuming they wore one each period. Maybe the player got one like the Winter Classic... but what about the other?

They have a mistake in the listing as they say "Flyers Charities auction held in memory of Brad McCrimmon"... Unless they mean the proceeds are going to a McCrimmon charity and not the jerseys were worn to honor him (we know they honored Mark Howe).
