I purchased them through the SkateZone which is directly from the Flyers. Paying extra for players I would want doesn't really bother me. Especially with what bjd discovered with the Jagr's. $35 well spent on Jagr's at least.
Please don't get me wrong, I'm in no way questioning what you are willing to pay, nor what is worth what... I am questioning how the Flyers can justify selling top tier players socks for such higher prices in one venue than they do in another venue... An iem is worth what it is worth -- or assessed to be worth -- and once set I don't understand how they can sell it for so much more money at VSZ... putting them at a sale price at the WFC is perfectly fine, but I believe the market value has been set for a few years now on the socks, and I'm thinking the SkateZone people, or the VSZ shop people, are making a gauging profit on them.

I understand where you're coming from. It wasn't just Jagr, Schenn, and other big names that were $35. All of the players that they had there were $35. I remember seeing Shelley and others there yesterday when I was looking through them.

The flyers own skate zone any price in their on any item jerseys, game used equipment, sticks souvenir pucks. The flyers determine the prices. I don't know why they were so cheap at wfc but the sz prices are set by the flyers
So I am watching this show on Velocity/HD Theater called All Star Dealers. They get some really cool jerseys and sports memoribilia, the current episode the are at some guys house with a game worn Joe DiMaggio, among some other great game worns, AND HE HAS THEM ON WIRE HANGERS!?!?!?!??! WHAT IS HE THINKING...
Not to mention he has multiple 5 or 6 figure dollar value jerseys hanging in the closet WITH ZERO EXTRA PROTECTION, NOT EVEN DRY CLEANING BAGS OR SEPARATORS!!?!?!?
Am I nuts, or should most of those be framed or protected or stored in a climate controlled room or something...

I think some random Panthers jersey with a chocolate stain that I bought as a resto project to become a Melanby is hanging up in a better setting...
Ughhhhh that is so damn perfect. Second I nail down a good job after I graduate I'm nabbing one of his. Awesome man, beautiful pickup. I am so jealous.
HC -- nice pickup. Let me know when you want to sell it to me
So, I may have stirred the pot a little while back about Philly Express and their alignment inconsistencies. I know many of you had wanted to go to other local customizers to get your Winter Classics done but chose PE on the recommendation of a lot of members for the most accurate on-ice lettering. I commented on the lack of attention to detail, and others started to notice this as well on their customized jerseys. Well, I want to say that regardless of the inconsistencies, PE is where you want to go if you want the most accurate on-ice lettering (2009-present), period.
1. In light of my OCD tendencies, I went to another local customizer and ordered a WC kit, making sure to cover my bases in requesting an exact match. Well, the kit I received was not completely accurate -- the nameplate was too short and the letters too spaced. I researched other "Official NHLPA" kits -- almost all had a noticeable difference (although I'm sure there are some that can duplicate the kit perfectly).
2. What you get from PE is what the Flyers get too. They don't care if their numbers aren't 100% perfectly aligned or a stitch is missing. As long as they have a name and number, they are content. If you look at Claude Giroux's actual game-worn WC jersey (pictures below), the alignment on the 2 on the back is slanted -- exactly the same way many jerseys came back from PE. This suggests that not only have PE customers been getting the exact same material, cut, sizes, and stitching on their lettered jerseys, but they are likely getting them pressed and stitched on the exact same machine as the game-worn WC jerseys.
3. Below are pictures of my WC Authentic 52 done up as a Giroux and pictures of the 1st period WC jerseys auctioned off by Meigray. I think the pictures speak for themselves.
Conclusion: Regardless of some minor inconsistencies, PE is the only place to go for authentic on-ice customization for Philadelphia Flyers jerseys from 2009-present. Embrace the imperfections. The Flyers do.
s3x I don't know where you've been man lol, but I've said that a million times the past few months, hell even a year, on here and IceJerseys lol. They are literally the only place who can do them.

I'm not here bringing news to the fact that PE does the jerseys, just stating that the inconsistencies and imperfections that members have discussed just recently should be overlooked in favor of true on-ice customization. Don't worry. No one will forget that you are the jersey master.

I don't care about being a know it all, I care about people wasting money when they could have saved it, and I know no one else can do the kits. I've also never had a problem with their sewing so I wouldn't say it's as prevalent as it's been alluded to. I constantly use them and never have a problem.
