Again, some people aren't going to care if another strategy is going to save them a couple hundred bucks if all they truly care about is getting the item.
As for sniping, I disagree with you as it simply cannot happen here, just as it can't happen at a live auction. Sniping an item is winning an auction with a last second bid. With this system, you cannot do this.
As for getting the item less by waiting until the end, again, it doesn't apply with this system. This system is like a live auction where prices typically skyrocket at the end because you have the people who are truly interested in the item going back and forth with bidding wars. I've seen numerous auctions like this that were supposed to end at 10:30 go past midnight.
I get what you're saying but I disagree with you. And since we're both just running head first at eachother like rams and not getting anywhere, I digress hahaha. And I mean abolutely 0 malice, twas a nice chat.
Does anyone know where you can buy images from NHL games now? They closed down the NHL PhotoStore and I don't think Getty lets you buy images for personal use.

Specifically this one:
I just looked at Gettyimages.com, if you go to photos.nhl.com takes you right there, surprisingly. Anyway, while there isn't an option for personal use, you might want to chat with them about purchasing it, I'm sure they'd have a method for you and wouldn't frown over making some money. Just make it explicit it's for personal use, not commercial, ads, any of that crap, because they charge based on use.

Well that sucks. Do you know where would be the best place to get the numbering/lettering done for that jersey? Exclusive Pro, or Cool Hockey? I see Cool Hockey has the kit, does anyone know if Exclusive Pro does? Thanks again for the help.
Also I was wondering is that the right captains patch? I thought there was orange around it.
Looked on the skatezone website, but couldn't find anything with a quick search, so I figured to ask the guru's here.
Does anyone know if they sell jerseys at the skatezone in NE Philadelphia? And if so, what type of quality they'd have?
If it's anything like the SkateZone in Voorhees they'll have some of the big names replica jerseys customized from PE.

Anybody else feel that if that Briere Penalty Shot goes in, the near $3 Grand for that #48 jersey wouldn't look as high and that jersey would have been swooped up very quickly right after the Regulation Horn blows?
Does it matter what skate zone you bring it too for jersey customization? I know they all just send it out to get done but i didnt know if you had to bring it to any particular one or it doesnt matter.
Point well taken... But it wasn't the jersey worn when the PS would have been scored as much as that Briere would have been cemented into NHL and (especially) Flyers folklore had he scored a game tying PS with under 20 seconds to go in a Winter Classic home game... A jersey worn by Danny B. in that game would have prompted many Flyers fans to want that jersey.
Had Danny scored he would forever be a hero in Philly, just as his PO/SCF performance would have made him had they won the Cup... and another game in that series could have allowed him to pass The Great One's 13 SCF points from 1988 which is an NHL record IIRC... As it is Danny has come oh so close to Philly Flyers immortality, but has no cigars to show for it.

I would think that no matter where you drop it off and pick it up, it will be delivered to and be done by the same Philly Express worker(s).

It matters in 2010, not anymore, I'm 100% sure Voorhees and Northeast Philly use PE, and 99% the other two do as well.
