Give him my thanks for serving!

And thank you too, as you as a military parent also pay a sacrifice.

God bless you and your son, and here is hoping for a win tonight and a safe return home for your son!

Every game I've attended, the team has lost.
Every game I've given tickets away for, the team has won.

Just gave my tickets away.

3-2 Jackets.

(if they win, I'll be accepting donations for upgrading to a full season that I can give away)

I'd also like to give a shout out to your son. Thank him for his service. Semper Fi, God bless and God speed for his deployment. His service is greatly appreciated in our household.

Well finally a solution to this lost season:

Skraut buys tickets to all remaining Jacket games in 2012

Skraut then gives these tickets away

We go on a massive winning streak and win the Cup!

See, its easy!

Our record against Colorado is always good for a laugh. I remember the time they scored on us when we had a 2-man advantage. Good times!

I can remember Roy shutting us out in his sleep until they finally just stopped wasting his energy playing against us

I'd accept the tickets in return, but my personal "jackets never lose" streak ended with the Nashville OT collapse.

You guys talking about your streaks or whatever got me thinking of when my last win was. I go to about 5-10 games a year.

The last Win I went to was March 10th, 2009 against Boston. Steve Mason had a shutout. 2-0

That is pretty brutal. My next game is the 14th against the Sharks so doesn't look like anything will be changing anytime soon.

I guess I'll be watching this one on TV tonight, at least until the Jackets get down 3 or 4 goals. Hopefully the Jackets will make this one interesting.

By the sounds of it Mason's in tonight. Go Jackets. By "go", I don't even know what I mean anymore.

Give your son my thanks and best wishes for serving our wonderful country. I am truly grateful for our men and women who make the sacrifice, and their parents.

I believe I remember the first win against the Habs. It was a 2-0 road win, long after the April tee times were booked. So maybe December. I might be wrong about it being the first win, but goodness were those people pissed. Booing through the entire game. I seriously expected those people to set the city on fire. "Columbus? Je deteste de Blue Jackets!" along with assorted French profanities, fist shaking, and molotov cocktails.

It was pretty impressive... Now we need to start running drills to get those one-timers on net.

Since they usually collapse in the third, she'll simply sit here dying of boredom until bedtime, which is usually first intermission. For all of the games we've watched/listened to, she's cheered goals with me maybe twenty times this year.
