18-16-19 is pretty effective on the PP.

I like Brassard's game tonight. Needs to string about 20-30 of those at a time.

Started before the holidays. We've managed to work our way up to 27th in home attendance @ over 14k per game. I've seen a lot more 16k+ games this month. I think there have been some local employer bumps to their employees with free tickets, so I don't know how real it is.

LOL at the Flames announcers(?) saying that the Jackets haven't played a full 60 minutes in a while and "dont be surprised if the Flames dominate the third". THEY KNOW!!!!

"Don't be surprised if Calgary dominates the third period," says the studio guy. He knows. We know. Does Priest know? What about Howson?

I really did laugh out loud. Not a bitter chuckle, but the kind of laughter I haven't experienced since my last mushroom trip.

Sorry Davidge, Brassard does not have one of the best wrist shots in the game.....does he think we're completely stupid?

Yes, Davidge does think we're stupid. Hell, I'm kinda drunk and I know Brassard doesn't have one of the best wrist shots in the game.

One thing I've pondered once or twice: Where would the CBJ be had Noel been named permanent HC? Thoughts?

Probably not as bad as this, but the players would be pot smoking hippies by now. I would not ever want Noel to be our coach... Ever.

I maintain that regardless of Clode's position with the club, or lack thereof, I really want to hang out listening to Dark Side of the Moon with him.

I'm not judging, just wondering... You hear about the NBA and NFL guys getting in trouble for pot, you have the occasional coke user and a lot of steroids in MLB. I never hear about an NHL player getting in trouble for pot or "hard drugs." Do they not drug test?

I think its safe to say we wont be seeing these 2 teams in a playoff match up Wow, talk about 2 bad teams. Is there any less dangerous $7m player then Nash right now?

Nash made some steps in the right direction tonight. Unfair on your part.

I don't know the specifics, but I've read many times that it's a very poor program that doesn't really test for much or very thorough, sounds more for PR than anything.

I remember there was one positive test before, like 5 years ago. Don't remember who it was but it happened right before the playoffs and the player was suspended for it, The only time NHL players have been caught other than that was from Olympic testing (Bryan Berard and Jose Theodore).

He makes $7m and is tied for 78th in points, again, one of the least dangerous $7m player in the league
