Game #36 - St Louis Blues @ Detroit Redwings
Crombeen returns.
Sobotka and Langenbrunner still out.
Will Grachev stay in the top 6 for another game?
St Louis will have Detroit's full attention after the last two matchups. This game will be difficult, and the Blues' injuries may finally show.

don`t forget Oshie still sidelined...
gonna get interesting, don`t dare to predict anything...
I guess Elliott is back, is he?!?
wouldn`t expect to much from Crombeen, guess he`ll see limited ice tonight and I think Grachev stays in top6

Elliott is definitely playing tonight. We need our best for tonight, especially with Oshie and Langenbrunner out.
Oh man I hope we win tonight.
GO BLUES!

Early guess:
Steen–Backes–Stewart
Grachev–Berglund–Perron
Porter–Arnott–D'Agostini
Cracknell–Nichol–Crombeen
Oshie, Langenbrunner, possibly Sobotka return Friday

Last time Oshie sat out against Detroit at the Joe, we won 10-3. Everyone cross your fingers/knock on wood/do something superstitious...

I'll settle for Backes scoring 4 and a half goals.

if the blues roll over detroit tonight, we can make a run at Chicago methinks. They have a pretty easy schedule for the next little while though.
If we lose, Detroit leapfrogs us, and we're chasing two. This game is pivotal. I'm so ready!

I'm not a fan of Crombeen personally. I'd rather see Reaves be in there. Detroit is a team we can outmuscle and he's played well.

If the Blues want to win, they better hit early and hit often. Detroit is not physical and doesn't like to be hit. The Backes / Stewie / Steen line should thrive.

I'm not sure if you're aware of this, but Reaves is probably headed to the IR with a rib injury.

As long as the Blues focus on playing the way they can and do play, instead of trying to match the way Detroit plays, the boys should be alright.

Oh I was not. That's unfortunate. Here's hoping Crombeen does well.

I'm guessing 3-2 Blues.
Blues: Stewart with another one, Berglund, Arnott
Wings: Who really cares?
Detroit's been just as dominant as us at home. Gonna be a tough one, but I have a good feeling about this one.

The Berglund line carries this team on it's back and powers the Blues over Detroit in a 4-3 win.
I'm probably going to be WAY off lol...

So... it's my birthday, and around my house, when it's your birthday, people have to do what you say.
So, I demand a Blues victory!

Both games against the Red wings this week, the Blues have a game the night before. Good news, so do they.
