I would very much like to see a single replay on the D'Ags penalty.

I know right? Second time they havn't showed a replay on a penalty tonight.

Anyways, went back and looked at it live, d'ags was in front of the net, skated a few feet out and threw a cross check on one of the wings d-men. Wasn't really hard or anything but was kind of interference, could have gone either way IMO. Agree that that detroit player ran a bit of a pick before that point shot

Like I said after the first, this is how the playoffs look. This kind of speed, this kind of intensity. Blues have dominated the first two periods against a Wings team playing hard and should have a bigger lead. (I know, I know, it's an off night for *another* Blues opponent, the Blues get so lucky that way.)

Love this NBC broadcast. So far I've got:

- "David PEAR-on"
- complete obliviousness to the D'Agostini deflection and continued confusion when he's credited with the goal all the way into the first intermission
- Refs showing "not a lot of respect" for the almighty Niklas Lidstrom when he's whistled for upending Arnott (which for some reason turns out to be a trip on Zetterberg)
- no replay on the Dags interference call

We need more size and physicality on the blue-line. I have been saying this for a while but our great defensive record lately has led a lot of people to disagree and state that these qualities aren't necessary. Did anyone see Franzen out- muscle Pietrangelo to get in front of our net earlier? Then on the Lidstrom goal he's standing right in front of Elliott , screening him and nobody can move him. Not saying Cole is necessarily the answer, but at least he's big and strong and hits hard. If 6'3" Pietro can't handle Franzen, Shatty and Russell won't be anymore successful. ( Yes, both those guys have other valuable qualities, esp. Shatty.) I really think this is a weakness of the Blues that will be exploited down the stretch and in to the playoffs, if not addressed.

Few guys can move franzen in the new nhl without taking a penalty...

1 goal lead going to the 3rd period in Detroit. You know what that means. Strap in. Buckle up and get the PK ready.

Detroit really pushing the pace, we need to have a strong push back.

Swaggering count 4. All Wings doing the swaggering.

Puck's been knifed four times. Lotta skittering and careening and Emrick hitting puberty.
