Nice.

Let's see if that Minnesota staff can do for Goligoski what they did for Leopold and Martin. He's sure going to get his opportunities, with Ballard turning pro.

Does anyone know if that Peluso kid has committed anywhere yet?

Yeah I saw that. I thought he would have been rated higher with his comparitive schedule and all, but it is nice to see him get the recognition.
And the other guys on the rookie team are pretty highly regarded prospects as well so it looks like the Pens did thier homework when selecting this kid while the rest of us asked, "who"?

Great news. I was stunned when they selected him, but he appears to be on track to upgrade his prospect status.

He was also rated the TOP incoming blueliner in all of NCAA. Rated by INCH. Link was somewhere on the uscho forums.

I'm very surprised that Minnesota was listed as 8th in the recent polls or whatever you want to call them, rankings. They've lost Riddle, Vanek and Ballard amongst others. They must be counting on Goligoski having an impressive freshman year.

Enver Lisin was still on the board when Goligoski was picked right? Who would you guys rather have right now? Goligoski looks good but Lisin is supposedly tearing up the RSL right now.

Lisin was picked ahead of Goligoski.
