I would have thought Best Buy but have not seen it in there in two locations.

I would check the team stores at Kettler and/or Verizon Center.

yeah I'm sure they do, problem is neither is convenient

I don't understand why Best Buy didn't since they always have a whole HBO section in their DVDs.

I'm not certain it was made available to mainstream stores. Have you looked online?

Just did. Amazon has it. I was hoping to be able to just pop in someplace and get it but looks like I may have to go the ordering route.

On a related note: how bloody ****ing stupid is it that 24/7 isn't offered on Blu-ray?

It's not a mainstream item, and it won't be in most Best Buys. For online purchase, it's backordered at Best Buy, and most DC area stores don't appear to stock it at all. It's easy to check it. One exception right now: Best Buy in Columbia Heights has copies.

Hockey isn't widely popular in the area. If not Columbia Heights, you can just pop into the Verizon Center store on the red, yellow and green lines. It doesn't get much more centrally located than that, conveniently on the metro.

Of course, perhaps by DC area, you actually meant... not DC. Anyway, Verizon Center or the Columbia Heights Best Buy for DC, Kettler if you're scared of the urban jungle. The Internet if you can wait one or two days. Shipping is easy and fast these days.

Yeah, I'm slowly shopping at B&M stores less and less myself. There isn't much I need today that I can't do without until tomorrow or in 48 hours, with better selection, lower prices, no tax, and delivery to my office or home as part of the bargain. For immediate gratification, streaming is good for that fix.

Agreed. That doesn't make much sense since the whole series was filmed in HD.

I guess that just means we'll miss out on Boudreau's BBQ sauce stain.
