1 faceoff with the start of the last PP : Plekanec loses

another chance with 30 seconds to go, faceoff in the offensive zone : Plekanec loses

This bothered me way more than the loss

Or his girly pass (to TB player) on the PP at the end.

Seriously, if DD had 3-4 more inches on him he would be a #1C, no argument

What in God's name are you talking about.

Plekanec is one of the best two way centers of the NHL. Stop the drama missy.

Despite Plek's FO losses at the end of the game, we still had chances to score but were shutdown. But before even talking about this, we shouldn't even have had to pull Price in the first place.

Take it easy on Pleks....he's been arguably the best player for the Habs for the last 4 or 5 seasons....the guy is allowed to have an off night.

And his FO% has been fine so far this year.

There are other people to point the finger at. Sure, maybe Pleks had a bad game tonight, but he's been rock solid for the Habs since he joined the team.

If I remember well, Halpern and Cammalleri were sometimes put on a deciding faceoff with barely anytime left.

If Kovalev had heart, he would be a perennial Hart trophy winner.
If Gill was fast and had offensive ability, he'd be dominant.

True. But maybe at 6'0" he wouldnt be as skilled or shifty....You cant really go by "IF's"...but ya a 6'0" version of Desharnais would be a very good hockey player.

If I remember correctly Halpern got tossed out of more faceoffs in one season than he won...

I've never liked plecks in the faceoff circle it doesn't even look like he tries just slaps at the puck, strange form

Dying!

But yeah, coaches wouldn't know exact numbers, but I'd hope a coach is observant enough to know the difference between a 33 and 55 centre.

I think the point was that DD has a physical disadvantage that he has no control over.
Having no heart and being lazy is Kovalev's fault.
