I didn't like that Celebration by Mrazek.. It's a penalty shot in the 1st, not a game winner in shootout. Hope you get lit Mrazek. Than you can do your funky tricked out celebration
I like how Gallagher plays. He's not scared at all to go in the corners or in front of the net. Even at 5'8", he plays grittier than most of the players on the Habs roster. He reminds me of Theo Fleury.
He was the last one to leave the training camp last fall. He will probably be able to crack the line up in next year or two. And again at 5'8", we will have to get rid of some of our small players to make room for him.
Czechs are a much tougher team than the Fins. Historically they've always played us tough. Their goalie has made many solid saves. For the 1st time in a game, Canada's defense has really impressed me. They've played well, especially Oleksiak who has been tough in front of the net.
Gallagher certainly makes things happen on his shift, hustles to draw a penalty, blows a sure goal then takes a penalty. You always notice him on the ice. Bournival has been strong too.
I haven't see too much of Pribyl. Still 2 periods to go though.
He looks great too, but hey... Look at it this way.
By the time he's ready to genuinely contribute to that lineup Chara will be on the decline and we will have: Subban, Tinordi, Beaulieu as a young nucleus and that's not even counting the older vets like Emelin, Diaz and Gorges.
SO if anything, try to look at it that way. Atleast our blueline shouldn't need too many more pieces over the years.

It's a young goalie that is fired up after making a key save to keep his team from trailing by two before heading into intermission. If people have a problem with this, people should also have a problem with Canadian players celebrating their 6th, 7th and 8th goals against Finland as if they were Stanley Cup winners.

He's not healed. He's playing on the fourth line + second wave PP.

Yeah I too like my athletes to be complete drones and have no personality. How can you say that and have PK in your avatar? Athletes with personality are awesome and make the sports more exciting.
Pribyl got something like 3 or 4 shifts in the 1st. It sucks that he got injured, I was really looking forward to see him play. He seems to have good mitts and he looks big out there.
It seems like Hertl got like 8 minutes in the 1st, he's one of my sleeper for the next draft.

I understand, just bugged me a bit. I'm sure if a Viz/Wegde did a big celebration Czechs/other teams would be bugged/upset about it. I'm sure people did have a problem

NOTE: The game featured a pair of brothers of current NHLers: Czech defender Daniel Krejci's older brother, David, plays for the Boston Bruins, while Denmark forward Mads Eller's brother, Lars, plays for the Montreal Canadiens.
