Well, we got a pretty solid third line! Who'd da thunk that'll happen just a few weeks ago.

I won't be surprised if Sutter starts Quick tomorrow.

Did we just beat the best team in the league (points-wise)?? Yes. Yes we did.

Not only did the Kings win, but they actually dictated the play for much of the game, which has been a rarity against Chicago the past several years. They actually didn't look way slower than Chicago like they usually do. Chicago obviously dominated the last 10 minutes, but that was to be expected with them pressing to score.

I'm very impressed that the Kings forced Chicago to run around for a decent portion of that game.

Quick turned on beast mode and Crawford was very solid as well.

Kompon needs to be fired tomorrow.

Hell of a game though. Hell of a win!

Toews can be such a little ***** sometimes. Boo hoo Hawks are pissed.

Mayor:
#Blackhawks coach Quenneville - 'I think both LA goals should've been whistled down, infractions on both. The refereeing was tough 2watch'

Win or lose, the Kings are playing for each other and showing some emotion on the ice. They have a coach behind the bench that coaches. I hope the wins continue.

The Kings only scored 2 goals and started slow, but from the second period on, they matched up with the Hawks and traded chances. That was very encouraging. The 4th line was on fire tonight, it was nice seeing them get some PK and PP time. Sutter will reward his players with ice time, I love that.

The PP still needs a lot of work. Kompon still needs to go.

I forgot to add that Stoll needs to keep Richards after practice for penalty shot lessons.

Richards is now 0 for 7 on penalty shots.

Joel Quenneville crying in his post game conference saying that both Kings goals should have been "whistled down" and not counted.

Then he goes on to say the referring was "tough to watch."

what a little *****. Both teams had 4 powerplays and Chicago was the team that got the gift late in the game on the phantom call on Brown.

..Your team didnt score any goals.. but it was the refs that cost you the game right?

Watched the Hawks feed... loved how they added "American born" before they mentioned Jonathan Quick every time he made a save. Was expecting a spontaneous U-S-A chant

That was a huge win. I was watching the Hawks' feed and the announcers were shocked by how well Quick played because they didn't know much about him. Well, they know who he is now.

What the **** is he talking about? Crawford didn't have the puck covered at all on either goal. What a whiny little *****.

Quick and Crawford both played great.

The Kings need to keep charging the net like they did tonight, it paid off big time and kept the pressure on Chicago's defense so they could not effectively activate the offense on many occasions.

Dear Hawks,

Your tears are sweet.

Those are called "net scrambles," Joel. Dumb ****. Accept the fact that your team was outworked in front of the net and shut the **** up. No need to whine incessantly about it.
