Most of the Pacific picked up points yesterday, as well as Nashville and Minnesota. Columbus has lost a ton in a row, and will be eager to play spoiler. They're absolutely horrible on the road though, we MUST win this one. No excuses.

Didn't realize so many teams around us in the standings had played at least two games more than us. Must must must win this one.

The bolded part made me laugh. The only thing the CBJ are eager for is golf season.

Mason in net for the Jackets. He's 0-8-0 on the road this season.

I'm sure the d-pairs are still gonna be:

Goose-Larsen
Grossman-Daley
Pardy-Fistric

?

Those really need to change.

Yes they do.

Goose-Fistric
Grossman-Larsen
Pardy-Daley

Gives a PMD and stay home on ever line.

In other news:
Quote:
Expect Toby Petersen in the lineup tonight as the Stars continue to deal with the loss of Robidas and Sheldon Souray, particularly on the power play in this case. There has also been some talk that Alex Goligoski could get more run on the PP, reminiscent of the kind of minutes Brad Richards played (nearly all of them), so we'll see if that materializes.
Please god be true.

Those look pretty good to me.

I think Daley's skating ability would really help out Pardy.

I'm sure this has been brought up before, but I figure this would be a good place to bring it up again.
I noticed 2 of the biggest draft picks for Dallas in the past few years, Benn and Eriksson, both ran through the same team, Columbus, at some point.
Does anyone know what the picks were traded for?

Dallas traded a 4th round pick to CBJ for 3 5th round picks.

CBJ took Maksim Mayorov with that pick. He is still playing for Columbus' minor league team.

Dallas got Austin Smith, Jamie Benn, and Michael Neal with the picks from CBJ.

Rough deal, especially if Smith continues to grow.
Isn't he having a pretty good year?
I'm having some trouble finding Loui's though.
Wikipedia was NHL transactions back to 2002-03, and I couldn't find anything about a 2nd round 2003 pick.

I'd like to see the Stars record when you drop by and throw your frozen puck.
I don't suppose you've been keeping up with it?

No I haven't, and never have. Just my way of wishing the Stars the best except when they play against us.
