Does Clifford's play in the last couple games remind anyone else of playoffs Clifford from last year? He's been throwing hits, finding loose pucks, getting into board battles, actually getting some chances, and crashing the net. He may not be fighting, but I find this very encouraging.

I wonder how much of it is motivation spurred by change versus adjusting to Sutter's system (sound long lasting lineups, more aggressive on loose pucks, and constant feedback). I really like Sutter's matchups too. He is thinking the game better, with a more energized fourth line skating hard, getting into puck/board battles, and fighting for loose pucks, he can focus that line against more offensively talented opponents and try to wear out their more skilled players while focusing our offensively gifted talent against their lesser matchups. It wouldn't have worked with Murray because the pairings/lines were bad, inconsistent, and he didn't have the bottom 6 playing this aggressively. Despite my initial reservations, Sutter has been a complete breath of fresh air for this club thus far.

...it'll be better for his back, because it would be tough to carry that and a Conn Smythe
I think Quick winning the Vezina would be exciting and such a great personal accomplishment for such a talented and humble individual. I would be excited to see it happen.
That said, I'd be curious to know how much more his price tag would be after adding that to his resume. Selfish, I know, but a million here or there can go a long way in this salary cap era.
Good Luck LA Fans but my Jets need the 2 pts more. Win tonight and then against TO and we will be 2 pts behind Florida.
The best we can give you is 1 pt if you're ok with that.
We're both sitting tied for 8th, so we could go back and forth on who needs the 2 pts more. I argue that we need the points more since we're sitting at 37% chance to get into the playoffs and you guys are at 57%.
jesus they are so loud i wish staples was like that
That's what losing your team for over a decade does to you Reminds me of the Wild. How enthusiastic they were to get a team again and that sellout streak...
