Jets tickets - a hot commodity (literally)

Winnipeg police arrest 21 year old after investigation of sale of stolen Jets tickets.

Quote:
He's been charged with possession of goods obtained by crime and four counts of fraud, suggesting police believe he sold stolen tickets on at least four occasions or to four different victims.

It is pretty rediculous here IMO.
Lots of scalping tickets going on that is for sure.

The scalping is fine and gets people in the building that do not have ST.

It is the selling of stolen and cancelled ticket that is the issue.

TNSE should set up a ticket scanner in the lobby of MTSC so that fans can check the validity of their tickets. However, this will never happen when TNSE wants to remain the #1 scalper in town and rightfully so as they own the team.

Go jets Go

Jets tickets will be a hot seller for a few more seasons.

Eventually, the novelty will wear off and ticket will be easier to get.

The best part of the Jets coming back is on Sat nights, we no longer have to watch the Leafs on the CBC...

Except for this Saturday.

I'm really glad that I traded in my dogsled for a snowmobile so I can get to the MTSC quicker.

Truth be told, I'm mildly surprised that there haven't been a lot more stuff like this, given how high in demand they are in Winnipeg. Was half expecting a counterfeit operation to be set up by some criminal entrepreneur in fact.
