I've never been so obsessive about jerseys before. But now you guys got me looking at these jerseys closely, and I just found that the R & E that the Blue Line used and the R & E that IceJerseys uses are different. The stitching is different also.
Yeah...I think the middle part of the E comes out too far, right? It seems like it's a tough font for people to get right if they don't have the official kits. The Blue Line is definitely the only way to go for CBJ stuff, IMO. The good thing is that so little has changed, you can get almost any year but an inaugural done and it will look 'right'.
2010-11 Columbus Blue Jackets Mathieu Garon - stick and puck marks, team repair on sleeve. This is actually a 2009-10 Set 1 that was patched to serve as a backup or extra jersey for the 2010-11 season. Photomatched to games in early 2009-10 season, but none from the 2010-11 season so far. Edge 2.0

Here you can see 2 Edge jerseys (regular home & 3rd) side by side with jersey from Blue Line. I guess I dont know if it really makes a big difference, but I'm wondering if I shouldnt buy some E's and R's from the blue line Saturday and try to fix this?
I would leave it, there are maybe 5 people in the state that would even notice it.

Heard that they might not even sell any jerseys from this season, that they were possibly just giving them all away to charities and such.

While they indeed did give away at least two sets, there are many more. It's hard to believe that they wouldn't sell them. Keep in mind, according to the Delaware North folks, part of the sales go to the CBJ foundation in dollars anyway.
If it's true, it's not necessarily a bad thing, but I hope it's not. I'd really like to get a couple.

I was going to put a bid on Jenner jersey, but I will stay off that one. I put the initial bid on Cam. If it goes too high I may call an audible, but there aren't too many other players in this round that blow me away.

2002-03 Rusty Klesla Road Navy 56, no wear - This jersey is a NHLPA patched team issue available only to the player or CCM staff. It was obtained from a CCM employee who got it at the 2002-03 All Star Weekend and had Rusty sign it there. There is no 'young stars patch' nor is there any tagging that would indicate official use for photos or games. It's signed on the back. The reasons it appears to be an NHLPA issued jersey besides the story are lack of neck tagging, NHLPA patch on hem and customization consistent with other similar jerseys. It was not sold at a premium nor was it presented as anything other than what it is. The seller did have many, many NHLPA jerseys, including a few game worn items. Though it has this good provenance and is interesting, it doesn't really match what I'm after in collecting so I'd like to sell it for what I paid - $200
