I don't know if it matters to you in the least what they do off the ice, but he is a good guy. he also donated a good amount of tickets to the special needs hockey team that I help coach.

Yea sounds like a great dude. I first am really trying to get a Syracuse gamer of his. Looks as if it was sold through eBay and I emailed the guy who bought it. It was something like 4 years ago so I doubt I hear back. If anyone knows anyone who has one, I'd appreciate them pointing me in their direction .

We had a friend of ours in the ACA from England. Was over here for a few weeks, seeing a bunch of a games. The night of the celebrity bar tending event at R-Bar, he wanted to get a Methot game used stick, Methot being his favorite player. So he went down to the Blue Line during the day and asked about getting one. They told him they weren't able to get him one that day because they couldn't send someone down to the storage locker or something. He was kind of bummed because he knew Methot was going to be slinging beers and signing autographs that night and he was leaving in two days to head back to England. Anywho, that night, all of us in the ACA decided to throw our money into Methot's bucket because everyone else was throwing their money into Dorsett or Brassard's buckets. We ended up putting in over $300 from just a couple of us and it helped Methot win that night. He started popping beers and handing them our table and another table, just seeming really happy about the win.

So afterwards, I tell him about our buddy and how he wanted to get one of his sticks and have him autograph it before he leaves for England. He just says he'll handle it. The rest of the night was amazing and if I see any of you guys, I'll tell you about it but it was the next day that's important. The head of our org and I went down to the open practice just to relax and watch the boys work out. About ten minutes in, we hear a banging on the glass and it's Marc, mouthing that he'd take care of us after practice. We nod, thinking maybe he'll autograph a puck for our buddy or something. Fifteen minutes after that, he motions to me a "one second" motion and he skates off the ice and after a minute, comes back with two sticks. He tosses me the one he had been using (presumably from games too) and he signed the blade "Dave, thanks for all the shots last night, Marc Methot".

That's when he became my favorite player too. Of course, the wife already loved him, so now he's "our" favorite player.

$250 for a game worn jersey is more or less a steal, IMO. That's barely more than a customized replica. If you like the guy, go for it! If it's just because you want to try to keep it at $250, there are probably some better choices on there that would be easier to move if you had to sell it down the road.
Yeah, I know that's a good price for a game used, I just have to be able to justify the cost to my wife. So out of the cheap ones, Sestito is my favorite (I also have a pair of his gloves that I wish I could get autographed, seeing as how he was a pretty decent fighter). But I'd love to get a Methot game used, to go along with my Methot pants and shoulder pads (building a Blue Jacket frankenstein on a manequin).

Forgot to post this one with the others.

2011/12 Springfield Falcons team signed jersey.

I may let this one go from the collection, as I have no use for a team signed jersey. I won't wear it. I usually only wear the gamers and do not want to frame it.

The Falcons WAGS must like me because I won this from the Love for Lokomotiv raffle and won the team signed stick 2 weeks before.

Any CBJ authentic blanks. I wear a 52 in the CCM's and a 54 or 56 in the Edge. But I would consider smaller sizes for family members such as my wife & son. Price range - the less expensive the better.

Reputable company, and these things are TOUGH to find. The actual numbers vary, but I've heard that fewer than 500 of these were actually produced before Pro Player and Fruit of the Loom went belly-up. (Don't quote me on that, it's just what I've heard)

Who here is the highest bidder on this one? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Boone-Jenner...#ht_500wt_1202

Also to pimp my own auction here is your chance for a very cheap game worn Blue Jackets Jersey. Lots of watchers but no bidders yet. http://www.ebay.com/itm/110802055565...#ht_500wt_1202

Love the Falcons jersey. That is a beauty.

I was really hoping to pickup an Atkinson training camp jersey, but I am beginning to lose faith they will ever sell those. A close second would be a RyJo from St Patty's day, but I am sure that will cost my right ball...err...arm.

Speaking of beauties, the Missouri Mavericks of the CHL are having a fan vote for their St. Pat's Day special jerseys.

Anyone want to stuff the ballot box for #4?

I may grab that from you as it fits my #17 collection.

Speaking of, I'm working on getting my collection up on Webshots. I've taken pics of about 60% of my jerseys. Once it's all set up I'll post the link.

Not really looking to get rid of anything right now. Magically you have a bid on the Brule jersey though.

Sure is, I got another example of this style of jersey (blue Modin) so it was time to move this on to a new home.

If anyone has a game worn blue stinger patch or a white cap and star patch jersey for sale let me know. These are a few of the holes in my collection.
