Not sure if it is a good or bad thing I am associated with Kubalik so much. If you ever want to sell or trade the jersey please keep me in mind!

As of right now I would only move it for another 2011-2012 gamer since they are going to be hard to come by, but if I ever come across another one you will be the first person I contact.

Going to post these before Wooten floods the board with his haul of Jackets jerseys from tonight Draft Party.

2010-2011 Game Worn Vermette 3rd jersey.

2011-2012 York game worn 3rd jersey. This jersey is interesting because the JHM "Word Mark" found on the back of the collar was only to be used during the 2010-2011 season, but because of jersey shortages some old stock was used and a few players were given 2010-2011 jerseys that were rebranded and had the "Vector" logo covered up with the "Word Mark" logo but were left with the JHM "Word Mark". I was also able to photomatch this jersey.

I love it, but the arms are huge! Was able to photomatch it in 10 minutes.

I will trade you straight up for your Prospal.

lol. Prospal is going to the grave.

Game Issued:

The Chaput is recycled. You can't really see it in the photos, but it once had a longer nameplate on it. Unless the number was changed, it was most likely a Frischmon.

My fall back plan in case I didnt get Prospal was to get either DMac or Pahlsson and then I would also get the Svitov Koho 3rd which I had heard they had. As for the Svitov, it would have been from 03-04 & my guess is that it was issued and not worn? But he did play 29 games for the CBJ that season. Or could it have been made up for 04-05, and he didnt wear it because of the lockout?

That Svitov is great, as is the MacKenzie. He's a great choice.

I still miss the old thirds...just a great jersey.

also -

the ASG patch looking solid on the CBJ jerseys:

thought the prices were still outrageous...especially $2500 for JmfJ 3rd and $2000 for the Nash

only thing I saw that interested me were some lower ones that were 400-500 and still too much for my taste

Nice pick ups everyone. I couldn't make the draft party so I still don't know which player I pulled. I'll find out next week.

Thanks, I don't know how much use it gets, but I update it anytime I have a new piece of information (mostly in case I forget ).

Does anyone that was at the draft party happen to know of who bought the Kubalik 3rd jersey?

I dont recall seeing a Kubi 3rd. But if they have one still, when I visit Nationwide next week, I will be happy to buy and send it to you if you will paypal me the cost of jersey plus postage. If they have it, I'm guessing its $400-$450.

That one disappeared out from under our noses somehow. Howitzer and I were looking through them, then started talking and looked through again and it wasn't on the rack. I'm not sure it was ever there. Don't think it matters now, but I was supposed to try to find it for you, but I struck out.

It was really kind of crazy. At one point, I was stuck waiting on my better half to show up because I was debating a couple and 5 people must've asked me if I was getting the Prospal or if I was putting it back.

an aside:

I know a few of you here wanted the Prospal, especially ibleedunionblue, and I feel kinda bad, but it's literally *the* one I wanted too, along with the Cam. I promised Dennis at the arena, and I'll do it here too, if I ever did get rid of it, it would go to you.

Some other folks seemed kind of annoyed that I had the jerseys I did. I don't know if they don't think of me as a fan or whatever, or if I look selfish, but I saved up for awhile, sold some jerseys and went in with a game plan and I guarantee they're in a good home where they're appreciated and shared.

I do my best to help everyone out when I can put a grail or wanted jersey into your collections, but sometimes when we want the same things I can't. Hopefully I help more than I don't.

Please don't feel bad about the Prospal, I have no hard feelings. I had a backup plan in place just in case and you got there before me and was a good 35 ft ahead of me in line. (The early bird gets the worm) I've been a fan of VP since his Tampa days so if you ever do want to sell, I would appreciate a call. But there will be more Prospal jerseys next year.

I am not knowledgeable on this subject, and I don't own a Nash jersey game worn or not.

But once he's gone does it increase or devalue his CBJ jerseys? Just a random question that popped in my brain.

Non game worn jerseys will be devalued, but for gamers who knows. If he goes to New York or Toronto I could see the value going up other teams I would guess the valued would hold to about that same.

I figured that is why my other half wanted to contact you. Great set of jerseys you purchased at the party. Especially the Cam. Very nice.

I was lucky enough to win a Dorsett game worn jersey from the Jackets for renewing my season tickets. It has the "A" on it and everything. I was pretty excited because I was expecting the worst, like Lebda or Mason or someone like that. My question is, if I have the opportunity, do I get it signed or not? Does it decrease the value? uniqueness? etc.....

Thanks in advance for the input.

First of all, congratulations and thanks for posting.

Second, the signature thing is a personal decision. In general though, it does devalue it in the sense that it's usually a little harder to sell because some collectors simply don't wanted signed shirts. A lot of collectors want things just as they were worn with no signatures, etc.

I'm one of these people to a degree, though I do have some in my collection simply because I couldn't get them any other way. The problems I have with autographs are that it makes wearing the jersey more difficult. You can't wash it, it can't get wet and so forth. I'm also just not really an autograph guy, and don't really care for how it looks on a jersey.

One compromise is to have them sign inside, like on the fight strap, or behind the crest. Then if it fades or smears, it won't matter a whole lot.

In the end, it's your jersey and your decision. If you're on the fence, wait until you feel one way or another for sure. You can always look for a photo of him wearing that jersey and have him sign the photo, leaving the jersey alone.

I got one of Dorse's 2010-2011 gamers last year. It is a jersey that will never leave my collection. I got it signed and I have to tell you that Dorse could not have been nicer. He smoothed out the number and took about 15 seconds to complete his signature.

It is your jersey! Do what makes you happy and congrats on the Dorsett jersey.
