Is anyone going for AHL all star jerseys?

I have very little idea of what they'll look like. The AHL store is selling these replicas, but they remind me more of what they use for warmups.

I'd like to win one so long as they don't go too crazy high. Probably shooting for JAM at this point, but any would probably be nice to have. Eastern is white again, for some reason. Really would prefer a blue one, but that seems to happen every year...I always like the western ones better.

Well the obvious answer to this one is that the Eastern Conf. is white this year because Providence is at home so they would be in the home whites. AHL still wear the whites at home and the darks away. Personally I would have liked to see the black & gold have some role in the jerseys but ironically since they aren't my Bruin's colors they are my Falcons' colors.

We have the game on tv here, the jerseys aren't bad but nothing special. There is the allstar game patch on each shoulder and a Dunkin Donuts sponsor patch on the left front. The left is the wrong side for sponsors and it makes the captain's jerseys look completely stupid with the "C" squeezed underneath. The names are red lettering on a white nameplate and the numbers are a two layer red on white. The one cool thing about them is that the laces are blue, so that's different.

JAM is in the #18 that he wore last year, Erixon is wearing his #3.

Thanks. I get the home away thing, just with last year being neutral, they picked white for eastern so it's stuck on that two years in a row.

I kind of like them now that I see them.

Here is a link to the AHL authentic eBay store. Erixon's 1st period ASG jersey is up already.

http://stores.ebay.com/AHL-Authentic

Here is what the warm up jerseys look like. The west is black, east is white.

A little unrelated to jersey collecting, but seems sorta relevant in my mind...

During the season that the current third jersey was unveiled, the Blue Jackets Foundation released a new Hats for Heroes hat. This hat somewhat resembled the look of the third jersey, as it hinted at the colors and striping of it.
(Heres a pic)

Anyways, the Foundation released new hats again this year.

Are these hats hinting at a new design for an upcoming season?

Got this in the mail today.

Its a Velcro nameplate for the 2006 Draft jersey I got about a month ago.

BTW if anyone needs Velcro for a project like this let me know. I still have 14' of the stuff left over.

Steve Mason jersey

Are his days numbered, or would an authentic, sewn on Mason jersey be a good buy at 60 bucks?

Depends on how you define authentic. Have any photos?

If its a knock off its not. If its a authentic replica, maybe. If its a authentic authentic, yes well worth $60.

Well, i'll admit, I'm a cheap-ace.
And yes, I'll also admit that I'm looking online at a Chinese website. They are sewn on and everything, look very real. It's either 55 bucks for his, or 60 and it would just come with a blank back. Which would you go with? It's the third jersey (blue).

Do not buy knock offs. They look like crap and people will point and laugh at you.

If it's anything like a couple new ones I've seen recently, the primary color of the 3rd would look like some type of electric powder blue.

No problem, we take knock off very seriously. If you have any other question please ask and we can help you find what you are looking for.

Also be prepared to never getting your jersey and never seeing your money again, as the feds have been seizing tons of counterfeit apparel lately.

Yes, I've been worried about that. After searching for a while, I found a site that does Paypal. If I had any isssues, payal would have my back, right? I'd feel more safe with paypal, rather than just giving out credit card information.

Or just don't buy a knock off...simple as that.

They look terrible, are considered illegal, and in no way supports the team financially. It also is not worth the risk of losing your money for something you'll never receive. Here is an article from about a week ago

http://m.postbulletin.com/sports/nat...1b7753a79.html
To tell you the truth, it's your money and you can do whatever you like with it. But I am very against people wearing knockoff jerseys, as are most people on these boards.

Or the ones where the light blue stripe (which is the thickest) looks like a horizontal pinstripe?

Probably not. Paypal, which is owned by eBay, has been under a ton of heat lately for money transfers into parts unknown. It's unlikely that they're just going to look at the amount you're out and be fine with kicking it back to you.

And this assumes you'd be getting a product even remotely like what the real deal looks like. And since I and several others can easily spot the atrocious variations of bootlegs...
