This should be GREAT. Butch is apparently doing a weekly radio/podcast show with Hockey this Week.

Haven't seen much details but there is a twitter account for it right here:

Mondays 1pm-2:30pm EST on the @Hockeythisweek Radio & TV Network. Listen & watch at htwradio.com & htwtv.net
Long Island, New York

We should support Butch. The more viewers the more likely he is to continue to do it.

Butch seems surprisingly tech savvy. I would think he'd be podcasting from his home, which would mean he'd have to set up the equipment on his own, no?

I would think some Hofstra interns probably set it up for him.

Yes he said Turg-er-on when talking about the King-Turgeon-Thomas line of the early 90's. I also thought I heard him call Steve Thomas Dougie Thomas during that discussion.

Heard that too... it was quite clear that Butchie was on the ball at least and stopped himself mid-sentence.

It was followed by an awkward silence.

I'd love to see Butchie drunk.... that dude's mouth would be spewing before his mind even clicked on.

I believe it's being co-hosted by Mike Carver a Wfan producer who's also a big isles fan. They have weekly shows and actually get some decent guests like billy jaffe recently.

Also, he mixed up the soft J's with Joensu and referred to him as "(Y)esse (Y)oensu."

Actually he didn't. Howie said at the start of the game that's how Joensu wants to go by instead of (J)esse.
