Haha! I actually thought he really went to Winnipeg when I read your post! I feel bad for Rick Nash. He's a very good player, Columbus probably won't be successful for a long time. the guy is contracted there for like many more years. Jeff Carter is another guy that is there forever. I can't believe Columbus has a bigger payroll than we do! Man I swore they were down there with the Isles.
Mine is too hook up with a girl who weighs less than I do. Shouldn't be TOO HARD to get a girl under 230. I don't expect her to be 22 like this other one, but she can be late 20s-early 40s if she weighs under 230, and is more than semi attractive.
so two close friends of mine that i've known since elementary school (the latter of which is probably my best friend if I had to rank people) both just got engaged in the last month, with the latter being today. I don't know this feel. Don't get me wrong, I'm extremely happy for both, and look forward to having a hell of a time at their weddings (whenever those may be). But now this leaves me wondering where the hell I am with my life. Feels weird man.
I was the last of my friends to get married..it'll be okay! I was 2 weeks shy of my 29th birthday so it's not a big deal! My brother is getting married in June, he'll be a little over a month shy of his 29th birthday.
When the right girl comes along you'll know and you'll be ready. Until then, just have fun and don't stress over it.

Don't sweat it dude. It took me til I was 36 to marry the right girl, and now at 37 I'm starting over career wise with radio. But I'm happy, and the future is bright. Never to late to figure it out, never to late to start over.

we're not doing anything earth shattering, just a few friends over for dinner/pregame, then out to the bars in town, but it's nice to have something planned after a week or two of "well whatever you want to do/let me know what you're doing/..etc" i just told everyone, this is what we're doing, i'll see you tomorrow night. and break.

I may be in the minority of 26 year old guys, but I really can't wait to get v married and start a family.
