How many pissed off "superstars" can we accumulate before we run out of money?

Johnson will be the guy but only until Martinek is ready - which should be relatively soon.

Well this was a waste of a first year of a long term contract. Yay.

Honestly, I wish he would just drop it. Its not like not having Wiz in the lineup for the first eight games cost us to go 0-7-1.... We're generally not a good hockey team to begin with and him contiually harping on it gives the franchise more excuses even in a time when he himself has seemingly turned a corner on many of them and seen them for just that.

Portie does his recent work a disservice when he constantly brings it up.

I never want to see anybody hurt but quite frankly I'm not going to miss the big minus.

Losing him isn't to bad because we're not in a playoff race. Also, gives us a greater chance at losing(1st(or 2nd if we lose the lottery) overall). But then again, his +/- was brutal, perhaps having him would have been better. Don't rush him, have him play when he is a 100% healthy.

Let's hope he isn't Wade Redden #2.
That would never happen, Redden was sent to the AHL with many years left on his contract. I can't see Coumbus ever sending him down to the AHL with the money he's making. Lets hope he isn't Commodore number 2(yes, I know he was sent down the AHL but it was for less then a year) Having to buy out Wiz would suck.

I wonder about Jeff Schultz of the Caps. With Mike Green coming back next week, they need to move a d-man. Although he has been a press box sitter for the last couple of games, he is a veteran NHL defenseman. He may be slow but he has to better than AJ.

Christ, I had forgotten he was on the team.

But yeah sucks for Wiz. I think we all winced the same when they showed that replay in slo-mo

If I'm Howson, I don't worry about making a trade to find a upgrade over Johnson.

We seem to have an issue around here with players that say "play me or trade me". I don't think we're hearing that from Wiz. Are we? Did I miss something?

No you didn't miss anything. I'm just hoping worst case scenario doesn't end up being a buyout.

This! Sort of.

This is the kind of season it's been: a couple of decent performances and I think "Great, here they go saving the jobs of the clueless, and lousing up their shot at a first overall pick before getting an early start on Summer."

Then Wiz gets hurt.

That's too bad, I honestly never like to see anybody get hurt.

But without him, a Fail4Nail is more likely.

But then again, given his +/- maybe the CBJ is more likely to fail with him in the line-up? But +/- is usually meaningless. But his is exceptionally bad.

What's a guy supposed to root for given a mess like this?

To quote Paul Simon "Anyway you look at this we lose."

Where have you gone Ronnie Tugnutt, Columbus turns its lonesome eyes to you. woo-woo-woo.

Hey, CBJCougar! What rumors? Care to share? Nobody ever tells me anything....

Three forwards for a forward + low pairing Dman. Twitter. (search CBJ) BS. Just stupid enough to be Howson gospel.
