Ebbett back next week?
With Daniel's injury, the Canucks are down to the minimum 12 forwards and Vigneault said he's expecting that Andrew Ebbett will be ready to return next week from a fractured collar bone suffered in mid-November.

Dreger was on OTR today, and apparently Daniel hasn't been doing too good. I hope this is just the Canucks using this as an opportunity to have Keith's suspension be longer and more harsh.

If he is, it didn't work.

****, I'm going to be livid if he's out for the playoffs. We're not going anywhere without him.

If Danny is in fact out for the playoffs, this team could go absolute beastmode to win it for him. Y'know, like what happened for Horton. Henrik will be pissed no doubt, and the team will follow his lead.

This could bring the Canucks closer then they ever were before. What happened to Manny sucked no doubt, and he's a guy the Canucks love, but I think losing Danny will really bring this team together to try and get as far as they can for him.

I don't know if the team has it in them (though, this is Daniel we're talking about). Nothing would make me happier than seeing them rally together (except for Daniel returning, of course).

After all Danny has done for this team, they respect him, and should rally together and play hard for him. Only way they're going to get over him being injured; winning it for him.

He could be back midway through Round 1. That's probably best case scenario. 4-5 weeks from now.

It's pointless to speculate about best or worst case scenarios when it comes to concussions. He could be back before the end of the regular season, he could miss games into next season. We just don't know, and we won't know.

ugh...
Really depressed about Danny's concussion. The Sedins play such a cerebral game, that you NEVER EVER see them put themselves into a vulnerable position. This is about the only way you can injure them. And by god, did it work.

I'm worried that Daniel Sedin is to concussion what Pavel Bure is to knee injury.
I really hope all this is precautionary.

Another awful factor is if Daniel returns in the midst of the playoffs, he'll be entering a high-paced, hostile atmosphere with lots of hits and rough stuff.

I wouldn't see that phasing Danny. The Sedins are honey badgers, they just don't give a ****. They go out there and battle regardless.

Didn't you guys see the look on Danny's face when he was sitting on the bench right after the hit? Man, he looked awful, hard to believe he was allowed back on the ice for another shift by our crack training staff.

He was KO'd. Don't expect him back anytime soon.

Remember when Dan Hamhuis' last concussion was career threatening and he came back as soon as the mandatory concussion period ended?

It was Daniel who was saying "I'm fine, I'm fine" to the trainer. Still shouldn't have let him out there regardless, but just goes to show how tough they are (and maybe a little stubborn...).

All the best, Danny. Get well soon.

Alright, TKO'd. Fight would've been stopped after that shot.

Manny was perfectly replaced by Lapierre in the lineup. Please don't tell me Mason Raymond is going to replace Daniel.

I think we will see the team pissed for the rest of the regular season. Playoffs are just a whole different beast though. Everyone is pissed by the middle of a series anyways.
