I'll keep this in mind if this is status quo. Thank you for giving me a ETA about their ticketing response system. How the heck am I suppose to know when they would get back to me?
Just sounds alot like you spent 100x more time complaining about Steam and their CS than actually trying to fix the issue yourself

Like someone said, steam forums
Again, there's nothing on the forums that I haven't already tried. I'll wait and see what CS suggest (that is if they get back to me) before I try anything else out.
Ok so if i buy a DVD to play in my VHS it's the store's fault if it's not working?
Yes, as they sold you a faulty product and they're responsible in fulfilling their part of the transaction by providing you with a fully working DVD. You're telling me that if that happened to you would just shrug it off and say "Oh well, what are you gonna do?". The squeaky wheel gets the grease.
I was actually a PC user up until a couple of years ago when I finally had it my Dell computer and the frustrating "blue screen of death" everytime I would start up the piece of ****. It got to the point where I would have to create a friggin new partition EVERYTIME I would boot up my laptop. And don't even get me started about their batteries, it lasted on it's own for about 4 months after I purchased it, and then it just suddenly crapped out on me. Afterwards I would have to hook up my adapter if I wanted to use it. Other than this experience that I'm dealing with, switching over to a Mac was the best decision that I ever made, no regrets whatsoever. The only reason (if any) that I would switch back to a PC is solely because of the games, but I'm not even a PC gamer to begin with so... good riddance.

It's like buying a ****** brand of car, having tons of problems with it then telling yourself you'll never buy another car because all cars are crap lol

Isn't that how most people feel about American cars? They have bad experiences with one of them and assume all American cars are ****. Or even better, they know somebody who has problems with one of them and assume all American cars are ****.
Just came back from day 1 of PAX East, I see myself buying a lot of indie games in the next couple of months.
My favorite game was a game I backed on Kickstarter, Party of Sin. It's a puzzle/platformer about the 7 deadly sins and plays great. The co-op was a ton of fun, I think the other people got mad at me trolling them accidentally.
Also played another cool puzzle/platformer called Snapshot that I'll definitely buy when it's released. You take pictures with the frame to pick up items and then drop them elsewhere to use in the right area.
Dell is one of Microsoft's biggest hardware providers, are they not?
If these problems are still happening to them, then I'm not running the risk again and blowing my wad on another dubious PC product. I've had my MacBook Pro for over 2 years and my IMac since the start of the year, and I haven't had one problem with either of them since I purchased them. I can't say the same for any of the PC's that I've had over the years. I don't mean to turn this into a PC vs Mac debate, but Microsoft hasn't really persuaded me to stick with their products due to my past experience with using them since the early 90's.

Already invested money into what I have right now, wouldn't make much sense at this point. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to suck it up and watch the crappy little comic book that came with my copy of Mass Effect 2 explaining the storyline of the first one.
Edit: The interactive comic is not at all crappy, and is in fact really well done. But it's not the same as actually playing it, needless to say.

Then don't. Because that's exactly what you just did and we've done it a thousand times before.
This thread is about Steam/digital downloading of games. I'm so tired of seeing this ****.

1.) First time venturing into this thread. How am I suppose to know what you're "tired of seeing"?
2.) Kinda hard to not talk about it when people are asking me follow up questions pertaining to the issue at hand.
3.) If your "tired of seeing" this then maybe you shouldn't perpetuate the issue by typing "LOL Ur a Mac User derp derp" like you did in the above post.

I'm surprised you can read what us lowly PC users are typing from your high horse.

I was just saying Dell computers are widely accepted as one of the worst (especially customer support wise) in the PC world. Especially because a lot of people who buy blindly think of them as one of the top brands, when in reality, they are below the likes of Toshiba and even Acer.
Dell computers is at about the same level as Compaq laptops (which are terrible).
Alienware might be a little better built (no idea), but Dell in general is garbage.
I was making no comment of Mac vs. PC because I've had no use with a Mac so I couldn't tell you if it was good or if it sucked.

The text must be so tiny.
You're alot like that lowly doorman in that Seinfeld Episode.
Whatever pal, not saying anything bad about PC users, never did in my previous posts either. Don't know why you have such a bug up your ass regarding my posts?

Because I love seeing a Mac user go "I BOUGHT A TERRIBLE PC AND IT DIDN'T WORK AND THEN I BOUGHT A MAC AND IT WORKED!"
Every time you walk past an Apple store, do you stop, look in the window, and just fantasize about going on a kill crazy rampage?
No, why would I? There is nothing wrong with Apple's products. They're a tad overpriced in my opinion but not really because that's the price people are willing to pay.
Mac's do what they do well. I would never argue against that.

Could of fooled me. All your doing right now is arguing. I'm not ******* on PC users by the way, and that was never my intention if that's what you perceived from my posts. All I was trying to say was that my decision to buy a Mac was based solely from my mostly negative past experiences of using PC's and all of the headaches that I've gone through with various maintenance and software upgrades (Anti-Virus, Spyware remover plus renewal fees etc) that I would be constantly making throughout. I'm sorry that you vehemently disagree with me, I really am. So I guess we should just end this by agreeing to disagree?
