After watching buffalo's dzone dismantle our double forecheck before it could start, I'd say that they are going to 1-2-2 trap all night and try to hit and cause turnovers like vs NYR.

If Green is healthy this team will be much better. We have puck movers, but none of them are top line puck movers. Carlson likes to turn it over and is young, Wideman is inconsistent at best, Hamrlik looks like he needs a cane, and Orlov is a baby.

Carlson or Orlov has a shot at being a player that can at least be close to filling Green role. While there is no one in the Caps system that can come close to being anything like Getzlaf. How long has it been since there was a great 2C on the Caps? I would take strength down the middle over a great offensive dman every time.

I just have a thing for Getzlaf. Our team is just so soft. And its been like this for a long time now. We need a few guys with a mean streak.
You aren't looking for Getzlaf if you want someone that's not soft, he's only known to pester European players he knows won't fight him. Same with Perry, they aren't tough guys, if you think they are tough then you probably believe Lapierre is a tough guy and we have nothing to debate.
