speaking generally, its always one line at a time. caps cant seem to ever get more than 1, maybe 2 going at once. tonight lines 2 thru 4 have all been invisible, particularly the supposed 2nd line which is just horrible right now.

and wideman. just

We better not get called for a weak obstruction call in the third after what they have let Buffalo get away with so far.

Is he the one who gave Brouwer a piggyback ride? If so I can see why he was hurt. When those two went down to the ice the Sabre bounced his melon really hard off the ice. Reminded me of my first attempt at trying to skate backwards. Knocked me silly.

Rangers up 3-0 on Florida. Sure is nice of the Rangers to help us out like that.

Its convenient that the refs decided to put their whistles away in a game where we dominated and deserved 3 or 4 powerplays. ****ing figures.

Ward has by far worst player on ice. Simple plays eluding him.

Poor period other than the goal. SOB is on tonight. I suspect they play upwards of half the third period.

Either way, I'm happy to see him make those saves. He should. And a big part of the Caps getting their "swagger" back is goaltenders doing their job.

The team needs some heart and nothing rips it out quicker than a bad goal. That last one wasn't on him. Shots just inside the blueline right after gaining the zone... **** that.

We still have a lead. Hopefully they all remember that going into the 3rd and come out hungry.

TVO should get those rebounds under control, that doesn't make anyone's job easier when pucks just float around the net.

I'm about 80% sure that did hit Nick's stick off that one quick replay.

Dodged a bullet there, off the post...we aren't playing half as good as we were the first period. Buffalo has gotten better though.

I dont think it was a coincidence that the puck went right to Ovi.

Certainly a Sabre didnt pass it to him.
