Damn, despite people's complaints about him he's fit better than anyone else has on that line. This could affect us a lot. Move Tim back to the first line?

Why not try Kadri on the top line? He is a natural center, with speed, and hands of gold.

yep, that would be my other choice other than Grabovski. playing Kadri with Lupul and Kessel could also work wonders for his confidence is he's able to rack up some points.

Connolly would be the obvious choice, but i like the chemistry he has going with Kadri and Mac...so if it's not Kadri, i'd like to see Grabovski up there. he's played well enough to warrant more ice time with better linemates.

who would center Frattin and Kulie if that were to happen, Boyce or Lambo?

Swap Gunnar and Franson. I dont trust Franson and Dion together.

From what Ive seen, Holzer will try and make his presence as unnoticeable as possible, and thats a compliment. Id isolate their minutes though

Connolly or Grabovski to the top line center. I would not think about Kadri as center right now until at least 40 games played (minimum) or as emergency placement in a game. He has lots more to learn before he can jump there. I still think he could very well end up as center 2 years down the road.

good news?

This I like but there are defensive question marks with the top line and I doubt that Colborne gets called up. I wouldn't be upset if Wilson tried these combinations tonight tho.

the problem with grabovski between kessel and lupul is they're all shooters. it could potentially work but it's easy to see why they'd want to try connolly there first.

with kadri, that line struggles defensively as it is, and that's with bozak who's pretty good in that regard. i know kadri's game has improved but i'm not sure playing him for 20+ mins against the other teams best players is the best idea either.

putting kadri and grabo together while connolly plays on the 1st line makes sense to me because kadri needs to play with someone who can finish and grabo deserves to play with more skilled linemates.

colborne can't be called up unless we send someone down and same goes with activating lombardi.

Bozak officially put on the IR as per David Alder (or whatever his name is) on the Fan 590.

I suspect Lombardi gets activated ( they have until 5pm to do this).

Move Connolly to the first line. KGM for second line. Have Lombo centering Frattin and Kadri. Fourth line stays the same.

I wouldn't change the Kadri Connolly and MacArthur line plus Kadri needs to play on a line with talented players

Wouldn't mind Crabb on the 3rd line either. I just figured the fourth is playing well and would be tough to break them up.
