Just got an email back from EPS

Quote:
$35 to strip, $55 to re-customize. We have very good results with strips, all orders are subject to a $15 cleaning fee if there is heavy staining left form the original customization. If you have any questions send me an e-mail or go to http://exclusivepro.com/customorder.asp for ordering information.

Thank you

What name should i get on my old praise jersey? I was thinking Kovy, or maybe even a Larsson or Henrique.

Kovy. You wont have to worry about him leaving or "busting"

Right but I wouldn't strip my Parise and leave it bare. I'd turn it into something else so that's 105? I'll wait for the the dorholt response.

Definitely give Dorholt a shout. They quoted me $20 + $10 shipping for nameplate change and patch sewn on front. Seems like a good deal to me. Of course, I'm keeping the number the same, so makes it a lot cheaper to change.

Food for thought. Here are players who wore #9 in the current colors.

Tom Chorske 1992-1993
Bernie Nicholls 1994-1994
Neal Broten 1995-1997
Vadim Sharifijanov 1997-1997
Brendan Morrison 1998-2000
Jiri Bicek 2001-2004
Bruce Gardiner 2002-2002
Craig Darby 2003-2003
Zach Parise 2006-2012

If you have a throwback, could always make it a Muller. Could even leave the C in place!

If we get a new #9 on this team it'd be easier on my wallet. I should probably wait for someone to get 9, but I don't want to see the name "Parise" on my jersey ever again in fear of vomiting.

craig darby- sold!

edit- would be great if every devils fan changed their #9 to craig darby, as a way to stick it to zpar on 11/11

I'm sure you'll see a lot of the Parise jerseys around the rock get Gomez treatment with duck tape and appropriate wording on the tape

I've had my Parise jersey since his rookie year. The good thing is I invested in getting myself a Larsson jersey at the start of last season. I had my plan B in place well in advance at least. And I have a minimum few years to figure out another back up plan!

If it's one of those super glued/pressed jerseys done at the Rock I wouldn't know though...
Its not bad if its sewn on, otherwise the glue will stay after you peel the numbers off. If it was done properly, you wont notice much of the old numbers. Sometimes they are glued then sewn, which still makes a mess. I guess it just depends who did the custom work in the first place. Most sewn on numbers will come off easily with a seam ripper, the glue underneath should only be temporary to hold everything in place while it gets stitched. BUt I have seen some nasty heat seal glue that leaves white residue where the old numbers were, and it doesnt wash out. So it can be a real gamble.

I charge $20 to strip jerseys. $50 for new Devils name and numbers, so to get one stripped and get a new name and number, its $70, plus shipping. $80 total.

Though again, some jerseys may not come clean with the residue from the old numbers. The cheaper option is to strip the nameplate($5) replace it with a new one($10) Plus shipping($10) $25 total as opposed to the $80 for replacing everything. Maybe hang on to the Zach jerseys and see if anyone interesting takes his #9? Or there are a lot of former Devils who wore #9. Broten being my favorite, he was key to the 95 cup.
Even if you have the glued jerseys, which dont come off well, a new nameplate can go over the old one without much notice.Ive done it before. Theres always a way around it. It totally beats throwing the jersey out cuz you're pissed at the guy for leaving.

I know I'm in the minority, but I'm going to keep my Zach jersey. It's a nice jersey from his rookie year (one of those old school Reeboks with the fight strap). It'll just go in my closet.

Muller and Broten are the ones I would go with. I always liked Morrison and was mad when he got traded...but since we won the cup, I can't really complain.

I'm about 5'7 and I usually wear size 46 authentics (sleeves a bit long but the length and chest are perfect). I have the chance to get a size 52 in Edge 2.0 and I was wondering if anybody has an idea if it will fit like a dress? If I plan on wearing a hoody under it would it be reasonable to go from a 46 to a 52, or will it be way too big?

I'm a Medium in regular clothing
